We wouldn’t want to appear to be biased towards one holiday over another here at the Panda Chronicles, so even though the holiday of Pandukkah is now over (thank you for that, Nina L.) we celebrate that turning point in any young panda’s life, the Bear Mitzvah! 31 days of Pandas proudly presents…

Oh my! The suspense here at 31 Days of Pandas is getting too much to bear…get it? Too much to…oh, never mind. You knew I had a weird sense of humor already, so no complaining in the cheap seats.

The Panda’s New Clothes

It’s Day 13 of 31 Days of Pandas, and as promised, today we have a new cartoon featuring Bubba (and of course his big sister Princess Pinky) and today Bubba get’s his official Panda Chronicles outfit! Like Pinky with her tutu and tiara, and the Meihem twins with their Panda Scout Uniforms, I knew Bubba would need a signature outfit to show to the world.

And here it is!

Quiet in cheap seats! I’m allowed to play favorites, and since Pinky just got a whole ‘nother book, almost to herself, I thought the Wu-Self should get a little more air time. Plus Pinky and Bubba will be here with an all new cartoon on Sunday where we reveal Bubba’s official Panda Chronicles outfit! Huzzah!!!!!!

Day 10, 31 Days of Pandas

Rather than start another one of my longer stories today, I thought I’d dive deep deep deep into the archives for one of my …um…quirkier stories. What made me think of this story was a post from Colorado writer Kathy Lynn Harris, who I discovered through The Write Life Magazine. She had written an essay there that made me an instant fan. The story also, just possibly made me spew coffee all over my laptop, since I had the bad sense to drink while reading. Not that I blame her, or anything.

Anyway, a recent re-read of this post made me decide to dig my own tribute to Barbie out of the archives and share it with you here.

Well, we have made it to Day 9 of 31 Days of Pandas, and we are at the end of our encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu! Wasn’t that fun? When we left you yesterday, Princess Pinky had just vanquished the Wicked ~~Cat~~ Witch of the West! But what happens when our heroes return to the lair of The Wizard, to claim their prize?
