PANDALANTA NOOZ!!!!!!!

Nooz has just been received at The Institute for Contemporary Panda Satire, that Zoo Atlanta has just signed a new contract with the Chengdu Panda Base to bring a new pair of pandas to Pandalanta! The new pandas are Ping Ping (not the one I met at Gengda in 2017, but STILL!!!) and Fu Shuang.

I guess it was a good thing I was too tired last night to set up an archive pandapalooza, because now we have a theme for today’s dive into the archives!

We bring you PANDALANTA PANDAS PAST AND (UP TO) THE PRESENT!

Of course there was some amount of rivalry between Pinky and the Meihems, but sometimes they cooperated on projects…

And around the time Pinky was getting used to having a little brother, a new set of twins was born in Pandalanta…Let’s have a big Panda Chronicles welcome for Six and Sebben!

Huh…apparently Six and Sebben started out as well behaved, but…

Winning through procrastination!

Taylor Swift won the Superb Owl! Because I am a football genius! We watched the replay of the last quarter (or is it an inning?) and the overtime, and mostly were all yelling “what are they doing? What’s going on? OW! That had to hurt!“

Meanwhile, Mittens is going around saying all kinds of crazy sh*t and we are all living in the age of anxiety! As Bikkie says, “It’s all too muchie!“

I managed to procrastinate to miss my 2nd ‘toon of the week last week. Will I do better this week? Who knows!

Anyway, Pinky has a new security team!

From here on, if I don’t have a new ‘toon to post, I’ll share something relevant from the archives!

In case you were wondering, Six and Sebben turned sebben…um…I mean seven this year on Sunday. I’m going to put together a little retrospective for them over at the Substack, maybe around Wednesday…

Anyway, due to recent events taking place down in Pandalanta, they decided to give Pinky back her suite as they have VERY IMPORTANT things to do!

I’m sure Six and Sebben will be a HUGE help to D.A. Fani Willis!

I realize it has been a bit of time since the last installment of Life in the Panda House, but there were those Fat Bear Week scandals to address, and then the whole “the Deep State is making hurricanes hit GOP states” thingie.

But now we’re back on track…for this week, anyway.

Is it my imagination or are Six and Sebben getting more poorly behaved, bless their hearts?

Technically speaking, Saturday September 3rd is their birthday and believe it or don’t, they are turning 6! How is this possible? (Lun Lun: Tell me about it, bless their hearts!)

So, without further ado (or any thoughts about just where the documents that went in those empty top secret folders are…) let’s dive into the archives for the Best (ha ha) of Six and Sebben!

How Can We Miss You If You Won’t Go Away?

Here we are, almost two years into Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s 1st term in office, and the news is still Mittens Mittens Mittens. I can only hope that indictments are on the horizon, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

But meanwhile, here is a little good NooZ!

The book illustrated by yours truly, and written by author Beth Bacon officially hits the stands next week! One of the things that helps get books seen and read (besides buying it) is requesting that your local library buy it.

Pand-O-Lympics Finale!

The actual Olympics may have ended weeks ago, but time has no meaning here! Here with the final event, are our favorite pairs of twins, The Meihems and their…um…”differently behaved” younger zizzies, Six and Sebben!

Let the games begin!

We will now bid the Panda-O-Lympics a fond fare the well, for another 2 years. Who will the torch bears be this time? Perhaps Fleur and Snowy? Stay ‘tooned in to find out!

It’s 31 Days of Pandas EVE!!!

Before we fully dive into 31 Days of Pandas, we have a couple more episodes of Bears of the Baskervilles! I’m going to run them today (Tuesday) and then tomorrow (Day 1 of 31 Days of Pandas) and then we will go into our 31 Days of Pandas programming, while I figure out…um…I mean FINISH Bears of the Baskervilles. Then I will do a full recap of B of the B towards the end of the month, so it’s not too confusing as I cut in and out of other stories.

Because after 12 years of doing The Panda Chronicles, I have more than a couple holiday stories!

We have many new readers, and those who have been around for lots of this panda journey enjoy seeing them again!
