Oh my, we are halfway through 31 Days of Pandas! Tomorrow we bring you the next installment of 101 Bebe Panda-Nations. I have to admit, it’s kind of a Cliff’s Notes of the 101 Dalmatians story, but I wanted to get it done by the end of the year so I could go into the new book, The Panda Chronicles Book 8: The Pinky Defense. Huzzah! Credit for the title goes to a friend in the twittersphere, who, as it happens, is a lawyer from across the pond. A fan of cats and pandas, she has joined the pandaratti on Twidder, as well as a member in good standing in the Pinky fan club.

The weather was too beautiful to stay indoors yesterday, so I did not get today’s post set up to launch in the wee hours. A beautiful day in mid December is a precious thing and ought not to be wasted!
You should also know that I am hard at work on compiling Book 8 of The Panda Chronicles!!! Huzzah! Since my process of writing and drawing the ‘toons is a bit by the seat of my pants, I always need to take some time to rearrange the actual physical cartoons into the order which they really should be, as opposed to the order they popped out of my head. All of my writer friends will tell you it’s all in the editing and revising.
Next week, we will start with that favorite Holiday Classic, It’s a WUnderful Life, starring Mr. Wu and Bee, the Bear, as the Christmas angel who shows Wu the error of his ways. But now, let’s dip into the ‘toons of last year, in honor of Doug Jones’ win in Alabama! Maybe all is not lost after all!

As I compile this post, Alabama voters are going to the polls to decide whether they want to elect the #Trumple candidate or...GASP!!!! a DEMOCRAT!!!!! All I can say, is that with the moves toward voter suppression in black and Democratic districts, it is unclear if this will be a free and fair election. I only have one thing to say about this: If you have to cheat to win, it’s not really winning, is it?
But meanwhile, baby pandas are in peril! Let’s go to the next episode of…
