Frank and Mikey, the most popular grizzly bears on the internet are back again! I know you will be happy to hear that they have a new show coming up in just a few weeks, especially since there is absolutely nothing going on in the news these days…hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Ahem…Hey, did you know that the Constitution is a big phony? That’s what HWMNBN has said (“people are saying”) and if people are saying it, it must be true, right? [insert eye roll emoji here] What’s that sound? Why it’s the sound of my head as it hits repeatedly on the desk, that’s what it is.

But let’s see what Frank and Mikey are up to now….

Hee hee! Our grizzlies in residence are back again (and soon will be launching their own show on The Panda Channel!) for more misBEARhaving! A good thing too, since we need some large, furry distractions from the NooZ of the week. When is someone going to admit that maybe HWMNBN does not have all his marbles? Did he really call the President of Italy President Mozzarella?

…And who is to say that they’re not? Personally, we are all kind of endangered at the moment. 45 is about to get a wild as a cornered bear (no insult to bears intended.) We are ALL in the line of fire.

What do Frank and Mikey have to say about this? Let’s see!

Yes, this really happened.

I am still under the weather with a cold/flu sort of thing, so staying close to home (and to the couch and a beeeg box of tissues) I hope the rest of you are well. I have some news of things that are not happening in the near future, but they will have to wait till I feel better.

If you haven’t already listened to/watched Greta Thunberg’s speech to the UN yet, I suggest you do so immediately. As expected, the right wing climate deniers immediately started attacking her. I can’t imagine having her passion and commitment, to speak to an international audience with such composure. I can’t listen to this speech and not weep and feel guilty.

Oh Sure, Deer are SOOOOOOO Cute!

Yeah, you may think all those big eyed deer that you see in Disney movies are so sweet and adorable, but here on Whidbey, the deer are totally cheesed off at people and aren’t afraid to let you know what they REALLY think! I read of several instances in our local paper, where deer attacked both cats a dogs, and killed at least one dog and a cat.

Seriously, Bambi! get a grip!

Don’t get mad. Get even.

I don’t know. Maybe the average rate of one deer a day getting hit by a car was starting to make them mad!

Just when you think that things can’t get any worse, they do. Who could ever have thought that there were lower bottoms yet to reach, and yet here we are. How long will it be before there is not a single person left who has not been personally touched by gun violence?

We are not fooled by the treacly insincerity of 45’s crocodile tears, as he reads someone else’s statement about his outrage against hate and racism. I fear that we will never regain our standing in the world, that the damage to the environment will never be healed, that we will never be able to trust our own ears and eyes, that what we think is true, is actually what is happening.

I’m trying to panda on, but honestly, it’s getting kind of tough….so…

When the going gets tough, the tough get Frank and Mikey…

Oh boy, oh boy! It’s time for another episode of Bears Behind the Wheel, starring your favorite grizzly bears, Frank and Mikey! Several attentive readers alerted us to this story about a vacationing family in Tennessee, and of course we were powerless to resist the urge to write a new ‘toon (or two) about it!

I mean who can resist stories about BEARS?!?!?!?!

The worst thing is the bears always reset the radio preset buttons and change the seat position!
