The Impeachment proceedings are heating up! I overheard this “actual discussion” on Twitter*

**Possibly paraphrased*

GOP: You have to hold a vote on impeachment or it’s not real!
DEMS: No we don’t. It says in the Constitution that if we say it’s an Impeachment investigation, that’s what it is.
GOP: We will hold our breath and scream and kick our feet until you do!
DEMS: Go Ahead.

Some time passes, with many revelatory closed door hearings…

DEMS: Now that we’ve had out investigation, we’re going to hold a vote, so we can agree on rules and procedure for the public hearings and reports.
GOP: See? we knew you had to hold a vote!
DEMS: It’s for the next phase of the inquiry and hearings. It has nothing to do with whether there the previous hearings were a legitimate impeachment inquiry.
GOP: FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE! WITCH HUNT! LALALALA WE CAN’T HEAR YOU.
DEMS: sigh..first witness…

It looks like we are getting a treat today, although, I’m sure that 45 and his band of like minded GOP goons have more than a few tricks up their sleeves. I’m pretty sure that the vote on the next phase of the Impeachment inquiry won’t make them happy, and they will commence to activate more delaying tactics and cries of “UNFAIR!”

The phrase “be careful what you wish for” springs to mind!

I can’t believe Bob’s costume didn’t fool anyone!

Yes, it’s time for that other holiday favorite, A Halloween Carol! (With apologies to Dickens! Sorry, Chuck!)

Let’s get right to it, shall we? Our story opens….

One of Pinky’s misdeeds has come back to haunt her… can her campaign survive this?

Hmmm… Pinky still does not seem impressed. Perhaps the ghost of Halloween present will have more influence over her.

Uh oh, the ghost of halloween present just caught up with Pinky…

Frank and Mikey, the most popular grizzly bears on the internet are back again! I know you will be happy to hear that they have a new show coming up in just a few weeks, especially since there is absolutely nothing going on in the news these days…hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Ahem…Hey, did you know that the Constitution is a big phony? That’s what HWMNBN has said (“people are saying”) and if people are saying it, it must be true, right? [insert eye roll emoji here] What’s that sound? Why it’s the sound of my head as it hits repeatedly on the desk, that’s what it is.

Hee hee! Our grizzlies in residence are back again (and soon will be launching their own show on The Panda Channel!) for more misBEARhaving! A good thing too, since we need some large, furry distractions from the NooZ of the week. When is someone going to admit that maybe HWMNBN does not have all his marbles? Did he really call the President of Italy President Mozzarella?

…Something more innocent than the current Nooz cycle, that is! (inky can hardly be described as innocent!) When the current occupant (occupier?) of the White House behaves like a pouting toddler, we need some junior pandas to raise the level of discussion.

Where will it all end? I have no idea, but I will keep drawing pandas as long as I can!

For those who are wondering (you were, weren’t you?) I have decided not to do another round of pins and patches before the end of the year. I find I have not nearly enough year left, or energy to add this into the rest of the year. Never fear, I have so many ideas and I really want them to come into being, so the pin/patch project will return after the new year.

That said, I do still have inventory of all the previous pins, including some slightly less than perfect pins that I can sell at a lower price. So, if you want to do a little holiday shopping, feel free to contact me via the Contact Page. (This is the most reliable method, as FB and Twitter messages can get lost in the shuffle, and don’t even think about asking via a comment thread. The likelihood of me seeing that is less than 50%!)

I’ll try to get things packed and shipped out to you as soon as I can. I usually go to the post office once or twice a week. (I am not Amazon!)

The Next Installment of The Wizard of Wu!

Yes, we are repeating that October tradition of re-running The Wizard of Wu, one of my favorite Wu stories! I remember as a kid, before you could watch whatever you wanted when ever you wanted, that we would wait for the annual re-broadcast of The Wizard of Oz. The flying monkeys always scared the crap out of me, but I had to watch. what if Dorothy didn’t get away from the witch this time? What if Toto ran off and never came back?
