It’s Sunday Not That Much Fun Day!

One of the things I love about the panda community and the panda satire community is that they are a justice and equality minded bunch, for the most part. (maybe totally: anyone that supported Mittens is probably long gone by now.) In this season of gratitude, I am filled with thankfulness for your friendship and support.

Soon 31 Days of Pandas will be upon us!

I have so many holiday theme stories to fill the month we should have lots of panda entertainment every day(Culminating, of course, with the 12 days of Crispmoss!) I am continuing with episodes of Bears of the Baskervilles, with a new episode coming this week. But rather than have the confusion of interspersing the encore presentations of other holiday tales with new episodes of B.o.t.B (which sort of spells “Bob”) (sort of) I think I will keep writing and drawing new episodes and save them until they are all done, and then replay the entire series, along with the new episodes over several days, which will give you a chance to catch up in case you missed any!

But now, let’s have a bit of some Sunday Fun with some encore presentations!

What? A New Character?

Our new character probably needs a little introduction. Last year I was messing around making felty pandas, and I made one that kind of looked like a nun (wearing pink!) I knew it couldn’t be Pinky, so I decided her name was Sister Mary Fluffy (calling her by her initials may get your mouth washed out with soap!) I also decided that she needed to go to a home that was more…um…fitting of her status than my home, so I sent her off to live in Virginia with the spiritual advisor to the Panda Chronicles.

I had hoped that she would lead a quiet contemplative life, but if you are a follower of either #TheBearchelorette or #BearchelorInParadise on the Twidders, you might have bumped into Sister M.F. (see? what did I tell you?) mixing drinks down at the bar. She has also been a regular player in a little behind the scenes Panda Improv!

But let’s introduce her, and find out more about the good Sister…

“Can I put a little something in my cocoa?”

My new book, The Panda Chronicles Book 9: What Could Possibly Go WRONG! is now under review, and I hope that it will be available later this week! This is exciting news, indeed!

Making Fat Bear Week Even Fatter!

It’s Fat Bear Week up in Alaska! Grizzlies gather to galumph through streams, as salmon jump directly into their mouths. Just like in college basketball, there are charts showing which bears are in the running (I’m not sure how the competing teams are decided…different stream? I’ll have to do more research.)

There are rumors that even though they are not on the official match ups, Frank and Mikey are planning on a surprise late entry! Other rumors of banned performance enhancing substances to promote unfair advantages, have been leveled against Frank and Mikey, which could explain why they are not in the official line up.

Also, Mikey has let it be known that he doesn’t like fish.

Mikey: Bears like donuts, okay? I like donuts. Bears like donuts. Did I have too many donuts sometimes? You mean, was I cool? Heck yes I was cool. So MAYBE I had too many donuts once in a while.

This would be a good time to order your own Frank and Mikey!

Is anyone going to believe what Frank and Mikey saw?

Did I mention this Sunday (September 19th) is Talk Like a Pirate Day? What a fun reason to re-run Mr. Wu’s Pirate adventure.

As a special HUZZAH for Talk Like a Pirate Day, any felty orders between now and Saturday September 25 will get a bonus Mr. Wu the Pirate iron on patch! ARRRR!

Yes, Frank and Mikey are home from their Alaskan adventure, (Mei Xiang: wait a minute…what do you mean by HOME????) Six and Sebben are back in PandaLanta, and Bebe Maurice has returned to France to meet his petite zizzies and turn them into internationally renowned painting models!

You might be thinking: What could they possibly be unpacking?

Silly you! Their pajamas, of course! What! Do you think they sleep au natural???? We may be animals but we’re not SAVAGES!!!!

I just realized that next Sunday is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! So, of course I will be re-running the Mr. Wu the Pirate ‘toons! Prepare to talk like a Pirate!
