So apparently, Brain Worm Guy has decreed a new food pyramid, (Make Beef Great Again) ignoring decades of nutrition science (ooo! Science! bad Word) and the effects on climate of massive beef consumption. Now, I like a good hamburger as much as the next bear, but it’s more a couple times a month treat and not a daily item on the menu.

Of course, civic minded bears have their own Food Pyramid, with a mind to ridding the world of some invasive species…

Of course, when I say “no room for bears,” I don’t mean here at Panda Satire headquarters. Oh no! I mean that homeowner down in California who objected to an adorable little 500 pound bear moving in under his house.

More Bears In the NooZ!

While we should not forget the violence and criminal behavior on the part of Mittens supporters of January 6th 5 years ago, we do need to reward ourselves for surviving through it with the ongoing antics of Frank and Mikey, our favorite bears!

Of course, there is always the possibility that we won’t survive the present clusterfuck, but at least we’ll go down laughing and thinking of Stephen Miller being chased by bears! Wouldn’t that be special?

and because it is the 5th anniversary of January 6th…

If we don’t stand for justice, we stand for nothing.

Ice Cream Goes with Wedding Cake if You’re a Bear!

There has been a lot of bear defamation in the NooZ lately. Is this sort of: A BEAR WALKS INTO AN ICE CREAM SHOP…or A BEAR EATS A WEDDING CAKE…the kinds of jokes we tell about bears? I mean Fat Bear Week IS a thing, but for the most part, they are eating fish (…yes we KNOW you don’t like fish, Mikey) not ice cream or wedding cake.

Many people have pointed out the various inconsistencies in the alleged photo of a bear supposedly eating a wedding cake, but if the bear was Mikey, well, I think you might have to re-examine the evidence…

So, obviously I am “with” the bears” in the best sense of the words, that is, watching them chow down on donuts, ice cream and wedding cake, and looking through the archives to find some suitable Encore presentations for you while I finish today’s the next ‘toon.

Frank and Mikey are having their moment in the spotlight…okay, well, actually, they are lost in the dark forest as they try to find their way to Fat Bear Fest, but to encourage them to finally find their way to the falls, I thought they might need some new Frank and Mikey merch!

Inspired by that “Winter is Coming” graphic from Game of Bears, I think this would add a little zing to your coffee cup, a tee shirt, or a tote bag! Stickers! Who doesn’t need stuff with bears on it? It’s on other stuff too!
