I done other Panda Parodies™️ of various movies, some successful, some…not so much. I think The Wizard of Wu works so well, because I’ve watched The Wizard of Oz soooo many times and so I know it really well. I hope you get a chance to watch the original this season (yes, I know you could watch it any time you want, but somehow the Halloween season always feels like the perfect time to watch it.

re-reading these ‘toons reminds me that I’ve done some really good visual storytelling, with varied and dynamic drawings. I need to get back to that!

When we left Mr. Wu and Binky, they opened the door on a strange new landscape, far away from Panda Canyon!

Fat Bear Week continues, but even more importantly, It’s OctoBEAR and that means Halloweenie! And as I previously mentioned, that means for the next couple of Sunday’s we will be having our annual special encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu!

A Reminder for the Holiday Season

USPS has made plans to slow down deliveries…why? Because they can, also Louie De, so if you are planning to order pandas for the holidays, order early, so they can actually get to you on time. After last years debacle (at least one priority mail package mailed on December 7 did not arrive until January 10th-ish.) I would rather not mail any packages after December 1st. Right now I have a fairly relaxed production schedule, so unless it’s a big order, I can still get pandas done in a week or so.

It’s October, and you know what THAT means!

…It means it’s time for our favorite spooky Halloween Season Classic Encore Presentations!!! Yes that’s right! It’s time for an encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu followed by A Halloween Carol!!!! Huzzah!

Meanwhile back in the Nation’s Capitol, Impeachment Inquiries are heating up, as HWMNBN can’t seem to help committing more crimes in plain view. I guess he really does believe he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue in broad daylight and not lose any support. What’s going to happen? Your guess is as good as mine, but what ever happens, you can be sure that ZooNooZ will be there to pontificate about it, and make fun of everything else.

…It’s time for our annual rebroadcast of ….The Wizard of Wu!!!!! (Sounds of cheering and huzzahing and pass the cuppycakes!) Yes it’s that time once again when we dust off that old chestnut, that classic satire of The Wizard of Oz, starring…no…NOT Pinky!!!!!!!! But the one, true, dearly beloved Wu Self!!!

It’s time for another Holiday Classic: The Wizard of Wu!

Every time I reread The Wizard of Wu, I am enchanted all over again! I remember watching The Wizard of Oz every year around Halloween, and I was always terrified by the flying monkeys, by the evilness of the wicked Witch of the West, the whole idea that you could be whisked away by a tornado and wake up in a frightening new world.

So, after our re-broadcast of A Halloween Carol, I thought we should also have an encore presentation of that other holiday classic, The Wizard of Wu, for our Fabulous Furry Friday presentations! (Be on the look out for some cameo appearances for the newest junior pandas on the US panda scene!)

Huzzah! We are back again for 31 Days of Pandas, and our encore presentation of The Wizard of Wu! Yesterday, the Wicked Cat Witch of the West sent her henchpandas out to capture Wu and his magical bunny slippers! Will they succeed? Let’s find out!
