Hey! What up with the new design?

For a while I’ve been wanting to “re-decorate” The Panda Chronicles. It was becoming hard for me to read the white on black type, and even through I liked the black and white thing, I also wanted to have a design where I could put something fun and colorful behind the blog.

So….whaddya think?

Meanwhile, Mehitabel has a little problem with the panda kindergarten:

Where does the week go? I don’t know, but it’s Friday and that means it’s time to select a favorite cartoon from the archives!

As it is almost summer, that means that the panda kindergarten will be going on their summer holiday soon, much to the relief of their teacher, but that will give them even more time to get into trouble.

The Weather Guessers are giving us one more day of good weather, and then we go back to life as we know it really to be here in the upper left hand corner. Yes, I’m talking about rain, and then perhaps some showers.

Sigh.

Next week Mr. Wu wraps up his big adventure, A Bear of the Air. Just maybe I might have Mr. Wu Monday as well as Mr. Wu Wednesday. Wouldn’t that be fun? Also the threats from people who are getting tired of cliffhangers, well…let’s just say we hear you and feel your pain.

But until Monday, here are a couple of my favorites to entertain you for the weekend!

I’m Late, I’m Late…for a Vewy Important Date!

So many of you have been sitting on the edges of your seats, wondering, what is going to happen to Mr Wu? Does a 9 month old cubby know how to fly, let alone LAND an airplane? What was the panda kindergarten thinking when they gave Mr Wu an airplane, and then didn’t go with him on the first flight of The Fuzzy Cubby????? Will Mr Wu ever get out of detention when he gets home? Are there about cuppycakes in solitary confinement?

So.

To set your minds at ease, we here at The Institute for Contemporary Panda Satire have been working day and night to find a solution to this dilemma. Pandas are standing by to help, and in fact, we have had an offer from a very famous panda, who has space shuttle experience! Tune in on Wednesday to see who this mystery panda could be.

But for now…

Nothing like a snappy graphic to… um…solve a problem!

One of the downsides of trying to pass myself off as a writer, is that now I feel obligated to go back into my posts and correct nit picky stuff like punctuation, spelling and capitalization.

Sigh.

I am just a simple cartoon panda, trying to make my way in the world. Does punctuation matter?

Things are hopping here at panda central…paintings to paint, cartoons to draw, airplanes to build! But in all the confusion, Mehitabel has taken the reigns (for today, at least) although the pandy kindy have a little project they are working on with the Wu self, so I think they will be on the loose very shortly!

Well, I, Mehitabel, have wrested the computer away from those stupid pandas. There has been way too much emphasis on those darn pandas and it’s time for me to do something about it! Quite frankly, it is much more cost effective to have a cat than have a panda live with you. Do you realize how much pandas eat? And that’s not even taking panda rent into account.
