So as I recall, PPJ showed up, poofed Frank, Mikey, Bikkie, and Pookie into a hot air balloon and off they went. Meanwhile, Josie finally found her way from Alaska to the Panda House at the National Zoo.
Okay! you are caught up.
Meanwhile, Friend to Bears Lucilla suggested that a gathering of pandas to say farewell to Ya Ya as she returns to China would be a fun thing. I immediately pounced (like a cat!) on this as a way to wrap up a story that seemed (like a hot air balloon) to be drifting aimlessly on the breeze.
Maybe don’t stand right under the balloon?

I was afraid to mess up all the drawing I did with hand painting the shadow, so I put it in digitally.
I’m trying to vary my point of view more. I did a lot in /wizard of Wu, but being more creative with POV takes more time to draw.
I absolutely love this one! Ppj taking Ya Ya happily home in style in her balloon. Hopefully with safety standards in place.
(And how can Mommy Josie be mad at that little Pookie? She should be hugging the stuffing out of him in relief!).
Josie is of the “tough love” breed of moms. After growing up with Frank and Mikey, I don’t think she has a lot of patience.
Please tell me Josie won’t take Pookie away from Bikkie–I’m emotionally invested here. LOL!
Maybe PPJ could “aksidently” poof Josie back home 😉

Frank and Mikey are a disaster with power tools! Fortunately, Pinky contracted to have a new penthouse suite built for herself (thanx for da Panda Express card, daddee!) so her old room is available.
Poor Mei. She should have hopped in the balloon with Ya Ya.
