The 2016 primaries were well underway. F45 had not yet become the GOP nominee. Hillary and Bernie were slugging it out. We did not entirely realize the abyss that loomed before us. The worst possibility, we naively thought, was yet another Bush in the WH.

Innocent times… Bubba was making his public debut, Mittens was oozing towards transforming politics for the worse.

Let’s see what was in the archives in the early months of 2016…

And then there were the debates…

It is really a sad state of affairs to see how relevant these ‘toons are, and how much worse things have gotten 10 years in, even with the 4 year respite under Biden. I can’t believe we are now in a pointless, destructive war, with so many civilian casualties already, and surely more to come.

I hope these ‘toons take you out of the madness for a little while. If only Pinky really COULD Poof Mittens…
