I think on Thursday it is the Meihem’s 13th birthday, and then Pinky’s newest twins, Four and Five have birthdays coming up later this week. (I think?) On the 29th it will be Mr. Wu’s 14th birthday! How can this be? I remember when he was a baby!

Wow, it’s incredible how quickly they grow up! I’ve been following Mr. Wu since he was a cub – it’s amazing to see him this big.
Seems like just yesterday he was a tiny cubby, sleeping in his tree.
And Tai Shan turned 21 on July 9
I always feel bad that I don’t pay enough attention to Tai. My only excuse is that he was already gone from the zoo before I really jumped in with both paws to the whole panda watching/panda satire thing. I did visit him when we went to China back in 2017 and even drew a couple of sketches of him. In the cartoons, he mostly remains a remembered favorite son, especially during the worst of Pinky’s misbehaving. Also, he DID send her that magical wand, so there is that.
