Camp GrandMei Part 2

Word Press (or probably their version of A.I. gave me a writing prompt that I thought was kind of funny:

If you had to be an animal for a week, what would you be?

Um…duh? Also, only for a week?

But I digress. Before I went off on my globe trotting adventures, I started a story about Pinky’s twins being shipped off to their grandparents for an undisclosed length of time. (Mei Xiang: EXCUUUSE ME? WHAT length of time did you say????) You can read the first installment HERE, because it’s been a little while…

We now return to our story…

We are finally having a little rain here, which is a good thing since it’s been so dry. Our thoughts go out to our friends and neighbors in the north, who are having yet another summer of fire and smoke. I hope you are able to evade the flames and stay safe.

It was very nice to be away and avoid the nooz as best I could, but alas. I am back and reality has come crashing down, although I am trying to avoid the anxiety spiral. Pandas help. So does the adorable little Linh Mai (sp?) heffalump at the National Zoo. She is almost as cute as a panda!

Till next time,

Be the Bear
Bob T aren’t they the cutest little pandas? Panda

I think Pinky needs to grow a bit. I thought she was Ppj for a minute.
And I think poor Mommee Mei needs to leave the twins with Tian and book a weeklong spa resort for herself. She can invite Josie and friend to join her. ( I’m assuming Mittens has conquered Greenland in Pandyland and Josie’s friend is a political refugee.)

Pinky still being Pinky size is part of the warped reality that is the Panda Chronicles.
I’ll have to get back to you on the Mittens/Greenland thingy.

Frank: what? Bears can’t play golf?
Mikey: as long as it doesn’t involve fish…
Josie: just another excuse for you to go off and ignore your nephew all weekend!

      I did not see this!

I personally would love to see Frank and Mikey challenge Mittens and the ghost of Lindsey to a round of golf at one of Mittens’ corrupt resorts. Of course the rule is that Mittens always wins. 😫

Frank: I’m a pretty good golfer
          Josie: since when?
Frank: um…since I “borrowed” some golf clubs when I was walking across a course once.
Mikey” that wouldn’t be Mittens’ course would it?
          Frank: um…it wasn’t me.

Always possible that ol’ Lindsay’s ghost might show up with Nixon’s on ZooNooZ.
