“I love the sounds deadlines make, as they go whooshing by”

That’s a quote from one of my favorite writers of all times, the late Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and many other books. And alas, I have missed a self imposed deadline. 🙁

I had hoped to be ready to launch the next series of pins and patches today, but one thing an another (I lost 2 weeks due to an unavoidable and unexpected trip) has kept me from this meeting this deadline. I’m trying very hard to get everything up and running for Thursday June 27th instead, so stay tuned! I’m close to ready, with a few more things to do, and get my project approved by the Kickstarter folks.

Read on after today’s ‘toon to get a sneak peek at the designs for the pin and patch designs!

And now…who are YOU calling a snowflake?

I’m not a snowflake. You are a snowflake!

Thanks to all who alerted me to this very important story about an albino panda caught on the panda cam in China, in the Quinling region! (You know it must be true if the Smifsonian reported it!)

And now, a little sneak peek at the next pins!

The Wu self! Final size will be about 1 1/4 inch wide

The Panda Kindergarten Keychain! Huzzah! Final size approx. 1 3/4 inches wide

The Wu the Pirate patch! approx size 3.5″ tall

Be the Bear!
Bob T Panda

Be sure to stay tuned here or over at Fezbook on the Your Brain on Pandas group (ask to join!)

I love The Kitty Sue Saga! And here she comes again. Wonder if she will testify? I doubt it.

Huzzah for the WU Self Design! Precious, cute, you have caught the Wu Self’s Joie de vivre!
Love the colors, I have a red jacket for the patch! I am so into these little creatures! Waiting for the information!

Still on prednisone and looks like I will be forever! My doctor is pleased, and I don’t see him again until September. Huzzah! I have got to catch up on the last 6 months! I understand procrastination—past mistress of it!

Stay cool, keep hydrated—most important as we become more mature!

I am trying to be the Bear!

The Kitty Sue saga really cracks me up. I look forward to the day when they are all wearing matching orange jumpsuits.

Stay tuned! I’m still hoping I can launch later this week. Thanks for the comments on the designs. I’m still doing a little tweaking, but nothing major. I really like the color palette for this group!

I can definitely commiserate with poor Snowflake, being different is like having a target on your back.It can make one really defensive… PIN, KEYCHAIN, PATCH!!! Yup I want them all. Not to be a giant pain but… is there anyway to make a patch of Wu the Pilot AND his Mom? I would buy 6 of them!:).

I might have to save that patch for another project! I have so many patch ideas, I might have to do an all patch project. I MIGHT be able to do a sticker as a stretch goal! I have some ideas about that! I am really excited about this group! after all, the Wu Self is my first baby panda! Stay tuned!

Ha ha! Cami is going to have to get a whole new back pack just for her patches. (She already has one with all the panda zoo patches from all over the place!)

I can see making a fashion statement with patches of all the various sweet characters! What a great idea! I love my first patch of Bubba and his Banky Pig and General Bun and Ping! Oh, new clothes based on the colors you have chosen for the patches! Glorious! Fabulous!

I am watching the first Democratic Debate! I feel very proud to hear
intelligent, experienced people speak on what needs to be done for our country! And speaking in complete sentences and without personal disparages! Oh, beautiful sounds. Whoever gets the nomination gets my vote even if it is not my first choice. Whoever the Dems choose, I will vote for him or her! I am so proud of these candidates! First time I have really felt some hope since the 2016 election. Huzzah! To the barricades!

            Oh, frabjous day!

I didn’t watch the debate last night, but am listening to it now. So nice to hear some adults speaking in comprehensible sentences.
