It’s Day 30 of 31 Days of Pandas! Thank you for joining me for this month-long Pandapalooza! It is always fun dipping into the archives to see what floats to the surface!
We are looking at a very stressful year ahead. HWMNBN is not going to go quietly into the night like Nixon did. He is going to go kicking and screaming and saying UNFAIR WITCH HUNT all the way. We need to be very brave and stand up for the Constitution and for Democracy. We need all the pandas and frosting that we can get!
To that end, let me leave you with some of my all time favorite ‘toons from over the years!

Thanks for writing and sharing these panels. I love all of them but I think the one about swearing is my all time favorite. And I’ve always loved the panel about Phexit. Elephants do have good memories and the comments from the Red Pandas made me laugh. However…Frank and Mikey have added new humor to your panels. Thank you for a lot of much needed laughter in a year with nothing funny in the news.
It has been quite the year, hasn’t it? The red pandas (fiesta little devils!) and Frank and Mikey make me laugh, and as we know, that is the best thing! Well, the best thing would be to have You Know Who dragged off in chains, but as that is probably not going to happen, well, I guess you’ll just have to settle for me!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! And thank you for keeping me sane this year as I have struggled with the effects of prednisone! I have laughed and laughed on this compilation of great toons which cover so many foibles of bears and people. Can’t wait to see your next project on felting pandas! Such a great idea
Don’t know what these Roaring 20s will bring, but I am wishing the best for you and your great talents which never fail to delight and amaze me. As Bette Davis said, “ Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride!” Well, I’m buckled and full of righteous anger over the shape our country is in because of that miserable excuse of a President. Tell Frank and Mikey to sharpen their teeth for some morsels a la Kravenclaw! By the way, do these sweetie bears know how to drive or just crash cars? I suspect the latter! Keep the faith!
Staying sane is going to be a tall order, don’t you think? Needless to say, I’m glad you are along for the ride. I have this image in my head of the panda fans going forth, en mass, with our shields and swords held high, ready to do battle with the forces of evil. Or maybe just descending on the cuppycake buffet, with forks at the ready! MoarFrosting!
