Mr. Bun Returns

I know it has taken a little too long for the return of Mr. Bun but in ‘toon time, it has been no time at all. And isn’t it wonderful  that Pinky is so technologically tuned in? Do we know where Mittens has been poofed to? Do we care? No, all we care about is that Mr. Bun returns to the place he belongs…with Pinky.

Of course,  if Pinky DOES become president, how will it look if she brings her stuffie bunny to the inauguration?

Oh, Mr. Bun! Where have you been?

Oh, Mr. Bun! Where have you been?

As a side note, we’ve been having a few technical difficulties over here, which for the moment seem to have resolved themselves. (That’s how I usually resolve technical difficulties: shut down laptop, go to dinner, have a cuppycake and hope that whatever was wrong no longer is when I turn on the computer again. ) For some reason I was not able to upload today’s new cartoon, and I was afraid I was going to have to figure out some low tech work around – print and deliver personally to hundreds of people around the world, perhaps? But while that might have been lots-o-fun, the time required and the cost of world-wide personal delivery was beyond my resources. So I am happy to report that the problem seems to have gone away by itself. Huzzah!

We will have more from Mr. Bun this Wednesday, and then who knows what I will have prepared for you for next week. The Tour de France is coming up soon, so we will revisit the danger of selfies at the Tour, as well as other selfie hazards in Fabulous Furry Friday’s encore extravaganza!

Don’t forget to…

    Hmmm, me wonder if a certain pretty little cubidate waved her wand and cleared up all your ‘puter problems, just like dat. {paw snap}

Oooo! So glad Mr Bun is back! But it looks like there may be a family squabble over WHO Mr. Bun came home to!

You know who Mittens is…the cat with the bad fur-do.
I’m not sure whether Pinky SOLVED my computer problem or CAUSED it. whatever. It fixed itself while I wasn’t looking, thank goodness.

Mittens is a disgrace to cats everywhere. Nuff said about that!
I’m not so sure Pinky didn’t cause my computer problems, but really I don’t care who did as long as it is fixed. I have an uneasy relationship with computers, as you might imagine.

I think Mittens the Cat got poofed to, um, Scotland. I’m surprised that Mr. Bun wasn’t delivered by drone.

I don’t think Scotland has done anything so wrong that she should be burdened with Mittens. But recent news reports appear to show that Mittens has indeed shown up in Scotland, much to their dismay. Perhaps he will go away soon.

Maybe the package with Mr. Bun WAS delivered by drone! Stranger things have happened!

Yikes! Mr. Bun was microchipped?! Does this mean that Pinky can also find out where he’d been, as in who stole him in the first place?
As for Mittens, who cares! 😉

I believe Pinky will be downloading data from Mr. bun’s microchip and taking “appropriate” actions.

As for Mittens, I’m afraid poofing is not permanent. He will be back, and in an even worse mood. Not thatw e care.

When I read this darling and clever tale I was filled to core with a feeling of warm, wonderful joy. You have created such cuteness in Bubba with with his rumbly, never-completely-full, tummy. It is is perfectly round for a little boy cub; yet, it does not mock him. He still has great dignity and presence.

I do believe MommeeMei has been a bit neglectful in teaching her children manners. Their response to the package was less than sterling. Or is it stirling? Oh well, Pinky’s self-absorbed nature is most definitely part of her charm.

Mei has tried and tried to teach Pinky manners, but it just has not worked. Bubba is a little more susceptible to politeness training, but then Pinky comes along and undoes all of Mei’s instruction. He (understandably) wants to be just like his big sister.
Glad you enjoyed it. Mei has also been trying to get Bubba to cut down on the frosting, but has been unsuccessful thus far. What can you do?
