Announcing: The 2018 Torch Bears

Move over Giant Panda Global Awards! THIS is where the money is! The Torch Bears ! The most coveted honor in all of Pandyland is to be selected as Torch Bears for the Panda Olympic Games! Needless to say, the competition is very fierce and there is ample opportunity for skullduggery!

I can hardly STAND the suspense! Tell us, won’t you please, who will be this year’s Torch Bears …

The Panda Olympics presents…

Okay…we are going to keep you in suspense just a little while longer! But never fear! We will tell you…um…sooner or later!

BTW, Did anyone watch Bebe Maurice’s debut yesterday? I believe Pinky has some serious competition in the attitude/icon department. Just saying.

Oh, Bob T, the Pandyathletes!! I really want to know in which disciplines they will participate. Personally, it amazes me, in the olimpic winter games that kind of big teapots that throw on the ice, and sweep with a broom … do you know if the Pandykindergarten is training in that?

On the other hand, Bébé Maurice points out ways to become a star. I hope he does not lose his French accent, and that he starts soon to eat baguettes and croissants.

I’m still voting online, to Bébé M. and, of course, to PINKY. She is adorable and unresisdabel

The teapot thingies is from a sport called curling. It is a very peculiar sport, and yet somehow mesmerizing. I’m sure the pandas are fielding a team!

Ok, here’s the list for the Torch Bears: Pinky, Bubba, Ping, Bebe Maurice, Bob T, the Meihems, (Bert and Ernie)The Lunnies ( Six and Sebben). Chaperones are Mei Xiang, Tian Tian. The have to be chaperones to keep Pinky in line. Mehitibel has to go along to see after Bob T. How is this list? These sweet bears can be stationed in strategic places to pick up the torch. My mind is in over drive plotting strategies to keep the Torch safe. I know, I know, I am having a sugar rush!

I did watch BeBe Maurice’s debut. I think he is overcome with all the attention. The Wu Self should help him take it all in stride. Eeeeek! I left out the Wu Self as a Torch Bear. Put him on the list. I love watching the Wu Self getting his physicals and playing with his green ball! More sugar! Bebe Maurice is such a wooly cutie with sass. He barked and lunged at Madame Macron when he first met her. Poor bear. He should have had his keeper Nanny with him. I also heard him honking softly. I have never seen a bear look more like a stuffie! His Mommee would have kept him safe!

Bebe Maurice is just about the cutest baby panda ever. Although Pinky WAS pretty cute as a baby! I just came across a picture of her when she was very tiny, holding her paw over her ears. I could almost hear her say, “not da “s” word, mommee! no sharing!!!!”

Bebe Maurice’s debut was just darling! I still can’t get over how his fur is so curly-Q and overly pink (more than other baby pandas being licked by their mamas).
Hmm, I think Zhi Shi and Zhi Ma could be this year’s torch bears. They have just as much mischief and adorableness to fill those big fuzzy shoes of the former torch bears.

Stay tuned! The Torch Bear Announcement will be on Wednesday! I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Yes, Bebe Maurice is quite a unique panda! I think he will give Pinky a run for her money in the cuteness sweepstakes. He has such unique fur, and must get LOTS of buffs!
