The long, long, LONG Goodbye

So, you remember that story I started telling you about Bubba and Ping going off to say goodbye to Yip and Jip, just before they went off and moved to Calgary, and then some other stuff happened, like the Panda Olympics and Chinese New Years, and I started telling you some other stories? Well, think of it as kind of a long goodbye from Bubba to his good friends to the north, Jip and Yip.

To remind you of where we left them…

Packing is such a chore! And a surprise visit from a friend can make it go so much faster!

So, now that you remember where we left everyone…

long goodbye

The Long Goodbye, or “Toronto Farewell”

Stay tuned for more of our story on Sunday! And don’t forget Fabulous Furry Friday, coming to you on…um…now what day was that again?

I’m terrible at geography but it looks like from your trusty Toronto to Calgary map, that Yip and Jip are moving closer to you? Any chance of Bob doing a live ZooNooz report for us?

Yes indeed, the Canadian pandas have moved much closer to yours truly and plans are already afoot (a-paw?) to send Bob T to interview them later this year. Huzzah! Some of Calgary’s panda fans are already discussing a visitation. Huzzah!

It was inevitable. I mean, look at who Bubba grew up with. 😀 I’m sure Mama won’t be too upset because Bubba didn’t leave by himself; Ping’s with him.

Yes, at least he didn’t travel alone. Pinky’s influence was inevitable, and really, this is small potatoes compared to the things that Pinky has gotten up to, don’t you think?

But given the fact that Bubba hadn’t caused any international mayhem nor kidnapped anyone nor pretended to be anyone, I’m sure that Mei won’t be all that upset with him. After all, he had to say goodbye to his adorable Yip.

Oh dear. I guess this is Bubba’s terrible two stage. Poor Momma Mei.

Perhaps the border security should be increased if unaccompanied minor pandas can sneak across. Just on our side though to keep our pandas at home.

But of course there should be free passage for pandas who want to come IN to the US. We just want to make sure they don’t leave, causing a panda deficit.
I think Bubba may become overdrawn in his “good panda credit” with this little excursion. It had to happen sooner or later, with Pinky as an example.
