It has been something of a dilemma of how to advance the ongoing story of the life of the pandas who grew up at the US Zoos, who have been the mainstay of The Panda Chronicles (Mr Wu: ahem!!!) after all the stories about Mr. Wu, of course. (Mr. Wu: that’s more like it) I mean, how can Pinky be a mother while she is still a self centered teenager? What has transpired is a jumbled narrative that is unmoored in time and place.
It is what it is. Happy Birthday, PPJ!
And so, Princess Pinky Jr. has continued to pop in and out of the ‘toons like an alternate reality. Reality has not been all it’s cracked up to be, after all.
