Pinky Shares The Spotlight

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Excuse me. I think that the title of today’s post is really funny. As we all know, or at least those of us who have been following Princess Pinky since her earliest days know, that “share” is not a word she uses. But of course I could not resist. You might say that the phrase Pinky shares the spotlight is, in fact, not…um…true.

If you want the truth, read National Geographic or The Nature Magazine, not The Panda Chronicles.

But here is what you’ve all been waiting for! Live coverage of Bubba’s Debut at the National Zoo!

I didn't THINK that Pinky knew the "share" word.

I didn’t THINK that Pinky knew the “share” word.

In all of the excitement about Bubba’s debut, we kind of left you hanging about Pinky’s view of the change in the National Zoo opening time. Don’t worry, we will resume our exclusive coverage of this issue, according to the view from the panda house, this coming Wednesday.

In other bear related news, tomorrow is Winnie the Pooh day (in my opinion it would be the Ernest H. Shepard illustrated version) and I for one, tip my hat to the great Pooh Bear. Everyone might have something with honey to celebrate this bear of little brain’s day. And remember, most of the great philosophical questions can be answered by reading the wise words of this simple bear. Huzzah!

Till then, be the bear!

Pinky should have given Bubba one of her Vote Pinky 2016 t-shirts when she had the chance.

That would have been a really good idea. I think she is giving bubba one tonight so that he will be appropriately attired for tomorrows crowds.

MX: not a chance, dear. Nice try.

That line has come in handy so many times. It would be interesting to know in what contexts it has been used in over the years. It lives on indeed, and Sally Fields probably cringes every time she hears it.

Pinky out on quite a show for us as we waited for Bubba’s debut! She is still a star… besides, I took her to get measurements of the White House and helped her make friends with the Secret Service. She knows while I love Bubba, I’m helping her become president! Feel free to post the pictures on here, I don’t mind

Pinky is very appreciative that you hosted her on her…I mean your White House tour. Also all the introductions were appreciated, I’m sure, for all parties. Thanks for permission to use the photos here. I was planning to ask you if I could. I bet the Secret Service is getting special training from Pinky’s Mommee about how best to protect…um Pinky.

I feel sorry for poor little Pinky, she’s going thru some trying times what with the zoo cutting her cam hrs. Plus, now depriving her of face time with all her fans by opening 2 hrs later. SHAME on the zoo director whoever he might be !!

A bear has gotta do what a bear has gotta do. It seemed to Pinky that this was an excellent opportunity to remind the public that she is running for president. Silly mom wanted it to be all about Bubba.

She is certainly on top of taking advantage of any opportunity to promote her candidacy. Maybe she would act as my political consultant.

I bet she kind of groans whenever she hears that line used.
But it’s true, we really like you, Bubba!
