I’ve been watching the elephants at San Diego Safari park, because they have 2 little ones. Elephants are amazing! Very smart, and they look out for each other. They might need to “sit” on individual 1 Jr.’s

I’ve been watching the elephant cam at the San Diego Safari Park too. The older females keep a close watch on those young elephants. One of the youngsters is slightly older than his smaller “cousin” so was bigger for a while The Mamma and Aunties would swoop in to stop him if he got too rough playing with the younger one. Excellent parenting skills.
It goes without saying that we could learn much from the heffalumps. What does it say about us when animals are more humane than humans?
I loves heffalumps! I am thinking of what a great idea for a visit to the White House with fertilizer for the lawn and gardens.
