Day 13: 31 Days of Pandas

OO OO OO! I just love it! It is Day 13 of 31 Days of Pandas!!!! 13:31! It’s reversible. Okay, okay, I’ll stop being a silly goose about numbers. But did I mention that yesterday was Six and Seven’s hundredth day birthday? They got their names yesterday and they are Ya Lun and Xi Lun so now they can have the nickname the LUNatics!!! Goes with Meihem, right?

Meanwhile, Mini Bob is on the move…

31 days

Mini Bob has an unerring eye for a cool set of wheels.

Meanwhile life in the real world gets weirder and weirder. I don’t have the illusion that the electoral College is going to wake up in 6 days and decide to elect HRC. But isn’t it completely absurd that He Who Must Not Be Named is
1) blocking recount efforts
2) denying that it is troubling that Russia may have hacked into voting systems, or at least has attempted to influence the election
3) claiming that he is “like, a smart person” so he does not need to attend more than one intelligence briefing a week
4) and that the CIA has made mistakes in the past, so now they are not in the least credible?

I don’t know about you, but I have the sinking feeling that this may not turn out well.

Considering my uneasy relationship with math, I might believe that. It would also explain why I never subtract or add from my checkbook (is that still a thing?) without a calculator.

I agree. In the real world it gets much more frightening. He Who Must Not Be Named is ruled solely by his ego and is oblivious to the welfare of this country and its people. This will definitely not turn out well.

it’s going to be like watching a plane crash. a plane crash that will take years instead of minutes. the carnage is going to be horrific and we will all show signs of mental and physical trauma.

just to stray, somewhat, off topic, i live in the vicinity of Lockheed-Martin. they’ve been working on that F-35 for years … it still doesn’t work but that’s beside the point, the employees of LM mostly supported the orange one, and now are afraid of losing their jobs…they asked for it.

congratulations Amurca, you now have a toddler with a twitter fetish and the nuclear launch codes in the White House. but hey, you won’t have to subsidize public schools anymore.

isn’t it great to be part of making Amurca great again? (when did the USA become non-great?)

back to your regularly scheduled pandas, carry on.

Pandas have always been great, and more pandas would make America greater than it already was. Pardon me while I weep silently into my cuppycake.
Thanks for checking in and panda-ing on.
The L-M employees aren’t the only ones who voted against their own interests. Too bad the rest of us have to suffer as well.

“LUNatics” – I love it! That’s even better than the “Meihems”.
Can we all move into the world of pandas, real and/or imaginary, for the next 4 years?

Awesome names for Six and Seven and the Lunatics is even better! There will certainly be lots of Lunacy and Meihem, both in the real world and the really real world of the Panda Chronicles. Thank goodness for Pandas and Cuppycakes!

Reviews have been mixed on the Lunatic front. I’m thinking to stick with Six and Seven, but I think the Lun will come in there somehow. Perhaps the effect of the full Lunar light on two small pandas. We shall see.

I understand why people can have an issue with the name Lunatics. I of course love it ๐Ÿ™‚
I know you will come up with something extra special – as you always do. I love Six and Seven as their names but I think they really do need a group name too. One of the earlier comments mentioned that Six and Seven add up to 13 which is a lunar number!! I couldnโ€™t help playing around with lunacy. Here are my thoughts:
LunaShes as they are the daughters of Lun.
LunaX (Xi) and LunaY (Ya) and together they are the LunaZees ๐Ÿ™‚
LunaTeens – a combination of Luna and Thirteen.
        I could go on but I wonโ€™t ๐Ÿ™‚

All excellent suggestions. I did not know that 13 was a Lunar number. I was also thinking about outfits as Luna Moths. we will see. I think people confuse the cartoon pandas and the real pandas sometimes. They are not the same thing.

Ermmmm . . . . if the new Atlanta Twinkies are to be known as the li’l Lunatics, is their nursery then the (oh dear, dare I say it????) . . . . LunyBin? I have to wonder if the Chinese foresaw all the puns that could be constructed when they proposed the names? Let the reign of Lunacy begin! At least we will have grand entertainment to offset the horror whilst the orange one who must not be named wreaks havoc on the land

We will need all the lunacy I can muster to survive the next 4 years. Ha ha! I like the LunyBin. :o)
