A few years ago, when I still thought there was a possibility for me to get some of my pictures books published through actual publishers, one of the ideas I was kicking around was a re-telling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I also did a variation here called Kitty Sue and the Three Pandas. I’ll have to re-run that here for the holidays.

Anyway, after more than 15 years of trying to leap into the Kid Lit publishing world, I finally decided it was not to be and that I should quit torturing myself. (Despite the fact that I am a jeenious and a really big deal). Anyway, I decided my jeenious ideas should not go to waste. I thought I should do it both in ‘toon form, and then as watercolor illustrations worthy of the biggest deal publisher, and put those on my Substack. Not really sure what my timeline will be, as I have a painting show I am working on for February but it will happen in some sort of timeline.

Anyway, here is the first ‘toon installment! I hope you like it.

I wonder what will happen next!
