Editor’s Note: But enough about that! I’ve been working on some drawings for a (panda) book project, so I haven’t been keeping up with Bob and the Panda Kindergarten. Fortunately, I just got these pictures from Panda-Palooza 2012 which took place at the San Diego Zoo last weekend. Panda-Palooza is, of course, the celebration of all things panda, and several of our Facebook fans worked long and hard to make this event happen. Since I myself could not attend, I sent Bob and Babette (and the panda kindergarten to go in my place. Here are some pictures of them at the convention.
Here is Babette being a very helpful panda. "Would you like to use my pen?"
"This way! This way to the Pandas!"
"Hellooooo! here I am! Fellow panda...Hellooooo!"
"OOOO...I hope I don't get car sick back here...Are we there yet?"

Bob, Bobette and the Panda Kindergarten had a wonderful time… and so did I.
And.. I never even once saw Bobette out shopping!! She was a very helpful panda.
And poor Babette… AuntiJackie just cant seem to spell her name right!!
Hopefully, she will forgive you!
I’m so glad Babette was well behaved. Sometimes at parties she can hit the bamboo-tinis a bit hard, and then the next thing you know, she is swinging from the chandeliers or “borrowing” your credit card. It gave me quite a little tingle to see them enjoying themselves at PandaPalooza!
What an exciting day out for our favourite pandas. Wish I had of been there with my animal loving kids (especially cute fluffy black and white ones)
