Karma’s Gonna Get You

We have yet another report from the League of Animal Justice today! Multiple astute readers alerted me to this very important story about a Cape Buffalo who dispatched a trophy hunter down in the Limpopo game reserve. Seems like there is an organized effort there to counter violent extremists who invade their peaceful paradise.

Karma’s a bitch, ya know?

Just sayin’! What goes around comes around, if there is anyone *ahem* who needs to hear this.*

  • Hopefully they are not reading the Panda Chronicles.

    Dear Josie:
Thank you for your excellent advice on what to do to meet bears while here in Alaska. I stuffed my pockets with treats as you suggested. It worked beautifully and I soon saw a beautiful Pookie. However, He was slightly larger than the Pookie I had imagined and unfortunately he became indignant when I tried to stuff him in my suitcase. Fortunately my 75 stitches can come out in a few weeks.
I would appreciate any additional advice you can offer. Should I seek a smaller Pookie and stuff both Pookie and Mommee in my suitcase?
    Thank you, Jeannie

Josie: I’m glad my suggestions worked. Yes, it’s best not to try to confine later cookies in an enclosed space. Glad to hear your stitches are healing nicely. Definitely stick with the smaller cookies and don’t try to coax mom in the suitcase. We hate cramped quarters.

I love the raised eyebrow in the last panel. Thoughtfully judging the quality of his trophy!

Hope Bob hurries back, before the friendly neighborhood crocodile gets a little -too- friendly. But we appreciate his bravery in covering the important stories of our times!

We do try to vet our interviewees to make sure they give good interview! hee hee! I don’t know if Bob will get to come straight home because I just got a lead on an updated story about the orcas sinking boats off the coast of Spain. This story is going to blow the lid off the whole “orcas sinking boats” scandal!Bob may be headed for Spain!

Don’t know if you caught this – not as exciting as your post – but Anna Delvey -a convicted and sentenced thief awaiting deportation – set free two pet rabbits in Prospect Park because she didn’t know how to get them back to their owner. (They were found and returned to owner.) She was using them for a photo shoot for her website with thousands of followers. She’s got lots of karma waiting! Sorry, but I just can’t get over Anna and all her tricks.

That is terrible! I will say, that depending on the location, domestic rabbits CAN thrive (and multiply!) in “the wild”. Until about a year or so ago, when a domestic rabbit plague wiped most of them out, there was a large (and growing) colony of domestic/wild hybrids. My theory was that the domestic bunnies were escapees from the Island County fair, most likely from the Baryard Scramble. (don’t ask.) All over town (and I do mean ALL over)you would see groups of multi colored bunnies hopping across the street, or in the parking lot or in the little park on 2nd street. There were a LOT of bunnies. I used to make up stories about them. (go figure)
That said, it is totally reprehensible that this woman STOLE these bunnies and then JUST LET THEM LOOSE? I can’t even.
