Oh me oh my! We just got the news that there will not be any baby pandas in DC this year! We send our love to Mommee Mei and family, and hope that they (and we!) can get over the disappointment!
Till we have news of the potential pitter patter of little paws in Calgary, we will have to be content for news and pictures of Hao Hao’s twins in Belgium at Pairi Daiza, and Meng Meng’s in Berlin. Not to mention an active baby panda season in China!

I felt so sorry for Mommee Mei! I think this was a hard pseudo pregnancy for her. I am glad that it is over, and that she is recovering!

I’m glad you are starting to do a little better. Health issues stink.
I really wish Mommee Mei had gotten to have a cubby this year. She’s kind of at the end of her reproductive years, and I wonder if they will try one more time. All eyes gaze northward to Calgary, as we wait to see if Er Shun will have a cubby or even twins. It was so nice to meet with their head Panda Nanny there.
WE may have to satisfy ourselves with baby pandas across the pond.
