There is some pretty foul air floating around DC. could it be…

…FREEDOM GAS?????

Ahem…You Know Who just officially “launched” his reelection campaign, although how you can tell it from his business as usual, I just don’t know. Mr. Badger suggested that I not listen to the news any more, so that my blood pressure doesn’t shoot through the roof, and I don’t have nightmares about the concentration camps at the border.

But if I did that, I wouldn’t have heard this story to make fun of (because we DO need an extra dose of humor in our lives, especially at times like this!)

What’s that smell? Could it be…The smell of FREEDOM??

You gotta STOP Hey! What’s that sound…

I SWEAR I DID NOT MAKE THIS UP!!!!

This is hysterical! Freedom gas indeed! I swear, I cannot believe the idiocy of people. No, I take that back when I think of the Orange one.
And Mr. Badger is right. I limit myself to one newscast a day, PBS.
Love my sweet Bubba and Ping and Pinky pins! They bring me joy!
Hang in there, girl! And keep up the Panda satire!

It’s important to know what’s going on, but I agree. I can’t wallow in it all day or I would get no pandas drawn, then where would we be?

We would all be paddling upstream with no paddles! Stay calm. I say this to myself! Sometimes it helps! Stay strong! Your precious little characters and your fans need you! Think what Pinky would do! No, better not! That’s too dangerous!

Ah yes, the stink of fake freedom. Even though I agree that avoiding the news can be healthier for those of us who are still sane, I do not believe that ignorance is bliss. I live by the credo that knowledge is power. You have to know what you are fighting against before it destroys everything you hold dear. By the way, I’m glad to know that spirits can still smell 🙂

I’m in the knowledge is power camp. I try not to wallow in it all day long, or I’d never get any work done. I find if I can put in a good days work, it helps me withstand the sheer volume of awfulness. The travesty taking place at the border has almost completely undone me.
yes, even the saintly Mehitabel still has an excellent sense of smell.

“Hey! what’s that sound?” We all know it’s the SBD (silent but deadly) Freedom Gas that’s the worst ever! You have no warning! Thanks for the laugh! With all the crap going on in DC, we need to laugh now and then.
