Youthful Indiscretions, Part 2

All I can say is, at least Mei Xiang did not star in one of those…um…you know….educational movies for pandas. If you get my drift. This was not one of those youthful indiscretions.

But leave it to Pinky. As we learned in a previous post, The panda cam at the National Zoo in Washington DC, takes up 60% of the entire Smithsonian bandwidth. Which, is as it should be.

Just saying, you know?

We can definitely use this in Pinky's campaign....

We can definitely use this in Pinky’s campaign….

Meanwhile, we are keeping a close eye on Mei Xiang, as she relaxes in her secluded panda den. Is there going to be another cub in DC this year? Or what if there are two? Will Pinky be able to cope with the distraction from her campaign?

Stay tuned!

Be the Bear,
Bob T. Panda

It’s going to be a tough race now – Trump filed yesterday. And he’s running on a campaign of surrounding ISIS and crushing them to get the oil (his words).

Sigh…how can I do my job of being funny, when politicians are already being so absurd? You’ll want to stay tuned to this station, because there are several upcoming cartoons where “The Bob” is channeling “The Donald”. Really, this is low hanging fruit, but who am I to eschew the easy way out?

Hahahaha! And you should always eschew each bite 30 times before swallowing. Or is that “sound bites”?

Pinky is very talented at making everything work for Pinky. Just an essntial part of her Pinkyness. So cute that Mei was worried that this was a scandalous video. Good thing it wasn’t one of those “educational” videos.

Love how Mei reminded Pinky that she is not scandal free herself. And totally love Pinky’s response to that!!
Her new campaign poster rocks! How could you not vote for a direct descendent of the sneezing baby panda?
    Huzzah and Achoo!!

Mei will never be able to shame Pinky into accepting that just maybe, Pinky is not an angel by any means. Of course Pinky is still very sensitive, as we recall that incident just before her first birthday when the Meihems turned off her panda cam….
It’s just one more reason to vote Pinky in 2016!

Yay! Pinky for presydent! Could she be the first President that has an 8:00 bed time? She is a growing cubby, and it it promiss to be an exciting election season. We will need Pinky to distract us from the real one.

You may be familiar with the folk singer Tom Paxton, noted for his many songs of biting commentary. But he once said “Some people you don’t have to satirize, you just quote ’em.”

He’ll have an easy time of it with Mr. Trump I think.

Ah, yes, I was a big Tom Paxton fan back in the day, but I had forgotten his very apt comment. I hope Mr. Paxton is taking advantage of the satirical bounty at hand. I know I will be. Thanks for reminding me of these words of wisdom.
