The Cute-o-Meter

The other evening, I was sitting around regaling my friend, Mr. Badger about Bubba’s debut at the National Zoo and he asked if Bubba broke the Cute-o-Meter which of course gave me the idea for todays’s ‘toon.

All kidding aside, Bubba has been wowing his fans in the Panda House and in the media around the world ever since he first stepped on the stage last week. He was recently the subject of this article in the New Yorker, by Robin Wright. I’m telling you people, panda fans are everywhere!

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen just who broke the Cute-o-Meter.

See? I told you it was broken!

See? I told you it was broken!

And back at the 2016 Presidential race, it seems that Pinky has been given yet another assist from one of her loyal fans who took Pinky on a White House  tour, introduced her to the Secret Service, and allowed Pinky to take measurements for curtains and furniture. I wouldn’t be surprised if Pinky didn’t make a visit to the White House kitchen to see what kind of bamboo they keep in stock. (Answer: none!)

The following photographs have been leaked by our intrepid Washington DC correspondent!

Is Pinky headed for an off limits area of the white House?

Could this be Pinky's future office?

I do not have a good feeling about this....

I do not have a good feeling about this….

Many thanks to intrepid correspondent, Anna Lisa, who shared her trip to the White House with Pinky, and her pictures with us!

Now if I could just get ahead in the polls…..

Till next time,
Be the Bear
Bob T. Panda!

Pinky’s White House selfies were great. Her friend Lisa Anna took her there last week. I haven’t heard of any complaints as to her behavior there, (at least not yet.)
The news from Iowa sent new waves of indigestion coursing through me. Please save us.

Holy wow, this is hilarious! I would not insult Pinky by comparing her to anyone involved in those events in Iowa last night. In fact, I was thinking she looks like a much better choice!

“See? I told you it’s broken!” I cracked up!

I must confess to cracking up myself, every time I read that panel. Also to the fact that when I started writing it, I didn’t know how it would end. (Being a dyed-in-the-wool “panther”) (Otto Korrect kept trying to make that “panther”) I agree…Pinky would be a far better choice than the clowns in question who were making a spectacle in Iowa yesterday. Unless of course, you were going to vote for Bob T… A panda with experience.

Well, it wasn’t as broken at the beginning of the cartoon as it was at the end of it. Just saying.

I am sure she will invite all of us to the White Pinky House for cuppycakes. I’m sure she could find some sort of cabinet position for Cody. She could be Secretary of Milkbones or something like that. (She already has a Secretary for saying Nice things about Pinky, a Secretary of Interior Decorating, and a secretary of Cuppycakes.)

Thank goodness Pinky saw there was something wrong with the cute-o-meter & attempted to fix it. Unfortunately it was in such dire condition that it fell apart. But u have to give Pinky credit for trying !! What a gal !! Vote 4 Pinky !! Not only caring but resourceful !!

Pinky couldn’t go to the Oval Office. She was in a reception room called the Round Room. The upstairs lead to the Red, Green, Round, and East and State Dining rooms. She behaved very well and was so charming!

Love her tantrum about the CuteOMeter. It had to be adjusted before due to her cuteness

Pinky really appreciates your giving her a tour of the White House. She probably wasn’t allowed in the oval office after the time she and her minions visited and climbed all over the desk like she owned the place. “Wait your turn!” Was heard in the halls that day, I believe.

And as to her tantrum, now we have get a new Cute-o-Meter. Sigh. They don’t grow on trees, you know.

Seeing Pinky in her stunning pink ensemble, outside the White House, absolutely shows how gorgeous the WH will look in PINK!

I love Pinky taking care of the cute-o-metre. She is so strong and such a take charge girl. Real leadership qualities there – so Presidential 🙂
Love the photos of Pinky at the soon to be Pink House – she looked right at home!
Bob’s expression when Pinky “fixes” the cute-o-metre is so adorable.
