I resolve not to make any resolutions….

…although it MIGHT be a good idea for the panda kindergarten to resolve a few things, and then the there’s Princess Pinky….how do you solve a problem like a princess?

Hey! here I am on Sunday afternoon, working on my new schedule, which is to bring you the Monday cartoon on Sunday! Huzzah!  Of course, if you don’t check in until Monday, well, the pandas will be here waiting for you.  Mr. Wu Wednesday will continue, although he doesn’t have any adventures planned for a while. I think maybe he should stay home for a little bit, don’t you?

Speaking of planning (who was speaking of planning?….Oh wait, it was me!) If you want to be the first to hear about what I have planned for the next year, you still have time to sign up for my once-in-a-while newsletter.  (I’m sending it out on Tuesday morning) This month, not only is it chock-a-block full of news, I also have prepared a PDF of the entire Wizard of Wu adventure story.  Huzzah!  Buuuuut, the only way you’ll get it is to sign up for my newsletter. It’s the second from the top sign up form on the right hand column, just under the sign-up to get these posts delivered to your inbox.

And now, bring on the bears!

Princess Pinky helps with new years resolutions

You say you want a resolution, well, you know, it is hard to change a bear….

Oh, that adorable Princess Pinky! What will she do next?

Keep Being the Bears,
Bob T. Panda

What a cliffhanger! How long will it take the Panda Kindy to realize they are trapped in a giant Cuppycake and to eat their way out? Who will be ready with the bicarbonate of soda? (And how did Pinky get that wand back?)

Ha Ha! Mei Xiang is going to have to work harder to find a good hiding place for Pinky’s magical wand. Actually, I’m not sure whether the pandy kindy is inside the cuppycake, or if Pinky turned them INTO a cuppycake. One of the mysteries of the universe, for sure!

Oops, that’s what I get for posting from the e-mail without reading the chain. Well, if they were turned into a cupcake it would certainly make room for us to answer the question as to whether there can be panda satire without the PK. There cannot, of course, be panda satire without cuppycakes.

There definitely CANNOT be panda satire without cuppycakes, and probably not without the pandy kindy either.

Oh, that little Princess Pinky! She looks so adorable and cute on camera so it’s difficult to see what a stinker she is off camera. Now we know, but does mom know?

Oh, yeah. Mom knows…”I just can’t say no to my little darling,” Mei Xiang was heard to say, “but really..I’ll hide it again tomorrow.”

I’m hoping that the spell is temporary. Princess Pinky can’t be trusted around cuppycakes.

Hmmmm…I think it’s a “Wake up and Smell the Cuppycakes” flavor. They got it from um… well, read my Newsletter tomorrow.

There are two separate sign-up forms on the top of the right hand column on the website. The first, is for the actual cartoon posts, which I think you are signed up for. The next one down, that starts out “Get Even More Pandas” asks for both your email address and your first name. Go ahead and fill out that form, mailchimp won’t allow you to sign up twice, just in case when I looked for your name, it was in some form that didn’t show up when I did a search for “Ann” Don’t feel bad about not knowing whether you are signed up or not… I don’t send out enough newsletters for people to remember if they are signed up or not. But do it tonight, because it goes out in the morning! And if worse comes to worse, email me again and I’ll forward it to you. :o)

Thank you! The smoking wand was an inspiration, for sure! And, of course, I am a child of the 60’s!
