Refuge

Oh, Bubba. I know that the twins, if they had the power to do so, would offer you refuge from the wrath of Pinky. And Mr. Bun too. Mr. Bun is welcome in Canada anytime, I’m sure. Pinky…not so much.

Hey! Where did Bubba and Mr. Bun go?

Hey! Where did Bubba and Mr. Bun go?

I’m sure that Unka Justin would be happy to add another toddler panda to his herd (embarrassment?) of pandas. Bubba has such a sweet nature, and I’m sure he would like some other pandas his own age to play with. And things are getting very hot back at the home den.

Repressive regime, indeed!

But things may start heating up on the electoral home front, as we anticipate the return of Mittens the Cat to the Panda-litical stage. Yes, that’s right. I have heard rumors that Mittens has been released from the Home for Delusional Animals where he was confined after the last election cycle four years ago. There is speculation he has a new “fur-do” but the same old policies. Will Pinky and Bob have to join forces to combat this totally unsuitable candidate?

Stay tuned!

Getting out of the country may not be far enough if Mittens returns, it be necessary to leave the continent or even the planet.

There is the snake, crocodile and spider problem, but maybe it would even out if I got to be your cuppycake taste tester.

    “Security Alert! Stowaway(s) in Panda 1!” {But where is Mr. Bun, have the Toronto Twinkies “bun-napped” him???}

The way Bubba’s beanie propeller is spinning, he might get to Canada in a strong North-bound wind gust on his own, to escape da repressive regime!

Mommee needs a couple of triple bootinis about now.

Mittens the Cat has been released from “Delusional Animal Home”?? Is there a hoomin branch for delusional politicians?

Alas…there is no human equivilent for the Home for Delusional Animals. I can’t help fearing the impossible. I keep watching and reading all these young adult post apocalyptic dystopian novels and movies, and thinking…yes…this is how we got there. These books and movies are the result of this election.
I only have pandas (and cats) to keep me from going totally mad. Or maybe I haven’t. Something to ponder today.
Well, I must get to work. Paintings and pandas await.

While I have mixed feelings about all of this surveillance we are subject to, in Pinky’s case, it is indeed a good thing.

Wow, that was a close call! Bubba should’ve hidden in the trunk until they had arrived in Canada. But then again, Pinky hasn’t been banned from Canada, yet, so I don’t think Bubba’s cry for asylum will do him any good.
I feel so bad for Mr. Bun; he looked like he was hanging on for dear life.
“Repressive regime” – Where/who did Bubba learn this from? Hmm . . . He better stay very close to Mei because I fear a very evil retaliation coming his way.

Yes, I think sticking close to Mei would be an excellent idea! He does seem to do that in real life, doesn’t he?
I fear Pinky will find a way to retaliate, but I don’t think she would do anything TOO bad. Maybe just repossess Mr. Bun or demand Bubba’s Banky Pig.

Poor Bubba – Pinky is really going to go repressive on his a… oh wait, she’s grounded.
I dread the return of Mittens – especially if his new fur-do is what I’m thinking.

Pinky is confined to her room until further notice, or till she can talk daddee into letting her out. Bubba is safe for now.
And yes, Mitten’s new fur-do is exactly what you are thinking. I had to turn my radio off in the car today, because various R’s were saying that it’s not the rest of the Republicans that are the heart of the party, it’s Trump, (or the D.T’s as I am now going to refer to him) and the rest of them need to get in line with him. Really?
I need to go watch some panda videos. Lots of them.

Oh boy !! Poor Bubba !! But he really should have known better than to be disloyal to Pinky !! I wonder what kind of retaliation Pinky’s creative mind will come up with ?? I’m sure nothing too extreme as deep down she is quite fond of him !! She’s such a unique icon that Mei, in good conscience, won’t ground her for very long, at least I hope not !! Pinky4President !!

Just because Pinky really is fond of Bubba, it doesn’t mean that she won’t torment him, at least a little bit.
You know…I’m not entirely sure that Mr. Bun got out of the car when Bubba was returned home after trying to stow away. We will see, won’t we?

Poor Bubba! He’s between a rock (Pinky) and a hard place (Mei). What’s a toddler panda to do? Maybe the whole family should move to Justinada (and take me with them). I will happily clean the panda habitat and trade the NYC Plane tree leaf for a Maple leaf.

Sounds good to me. Can I go with you all too? Bubba can sit on my lap in the car, no problem.

Bubba asked me to tell you, most respectfully, that that is his own business, but between you and me, I think he is mostly. Wouldn’t want to mess up the upholstery in Unka Justin’s limo.
