The plot thickens….

It looks like the twinkies have arrived at the National Zoo.

Cue the music for the last scene shootout in any spaghetti-O western you might care to name. The avengers have ridden in to town and they ain’t gonna leave till they get retribution.

Or, at least a cuppycake.

Howdy, Mr Kitty, kindly tell us where a tired old cowpoke can get a boo beer and a cuppycake.

Howdy, Mr Kitty, kindly tell us where a tired old cowpoke can get a boo beer and a cuppycake.

Will the girls join forces to take over the Pandy Kindy? Will Bert and Ernie remember to call their mom and let them know they arrived safely? Will the Pandy Kindy ever be the same?

Tune in next week as our story continues.

I wish there was a way to play some iconic music in the background, you know, shoot out at the okeedokee corral or something like that. There’s a new leader of the pandy kindy in town, and she’s wearing a pink tutu and a tiara! Bring on the cuppycakes.
:o) Glad you liked the saloon doors.

Ha ha ha! With extra frosting, please. Well, I wouldn’t exactly say that things will be SETTLED between the girls, (you know how groups of girls have shifting alliances) but I think they will try to work together to overthrow the male dominance of the pandy kindy.
and there will be cuppycakes at ALL meetings.

…the faint tinkle of spurs jingling sounded above the clink of lemonade glasses in the bar. A tumbleweed, caught against the rusty barbed wire around Boot Hill finally broke free and spun lazily up onto the boardwalk. It stopped suddenly against the wheels of a buggy, parked out on the street. The steady thump, thump of footsteps made the twins look up and into the face of Sheriff Phineas P. Pandamonium, who said, “Magic Wand, little Ladies? We don’t appreciate Magic Wands in this here town.”

“Who asked you anyway?” replied one twin or maybe it was the other one.
“I have a badge, not to mention a tiara.” replied Sheriff Phineas P. Pandamonium.
“Badges? we don’t need no stinking badges,” snarled the other twin….

Clink! Clink! Quick as a flash both twins found themselves in handcuffs. They both snarled now, “You can’t do this to pandy girls. We’re tough, we….. Eeek!” They both found themselves tucked underneath Phineas’ huge, hairy and not so sweet smelling arms as he strolled towards the jail. “Pinky!” they cried, “Pinky do something!” Pinky adjusted her tiara and smoothed out her dress and said, ‘Pinky don no nuffing Sheriff, dese pandy girls is trouble.” Turning away she pushed the swinging doors open and walked into the gloom, “Barkeep, a lemonade and da biggest cuppycakes you have.”

“dis town is not big enuff for da two of us!” yelled one of the twins.
“were you talkin’ ’bout me?” said Bert.
“no i was talking about that naughty pinky. maybe po will come and bust us outta here.”

          3. laurie27wsmith

“Nobody comin to bust you out girly. Phineas runs a tight ship.” Standing up slowly he stroked his straggly beard and stared out though the bars and into the street, before continuing, “I’ve been here nigh on ten years, Phineas tracked my sorry panda butt down, after I blew the door off the bakery and stole 2,000 cuppycakes.”
The twins stared at him in awe and gasped, “You, you’re the Cuppycake Bandit.”

The door clanged shut, and soon Bert and Ernie were alone in the jail.
“we gotta gets outta here!” said Bert.
“how we gonna do dat?” asked Ernie.
“that bozo sheriff din’t tink to check if i had a mephone. I’m calling in our back-up!.”

          5. laurie27wsmith

Ring! Ring! ‘Lo, dis is Pinky, who dat? Bert, wat you doin in der jail? The twins are der? I can’t do dat. My magic wand? Mama said Pinky not use it. There’s a cuppycakes if I do. I ur girl.’
Taking her wand from where she’d hidden it, Pinky straightens her tiara, smooths down her skirt and waves the wand. ‘Burt and Ernie from jail is free, bring the cuppycakes to me.’ A loud rumbling in the distance brought the town to a standstill. The frosting hit first in huge waves, then cuppycakes in pink wrappers rolled into town. Burt turned to Ernie and said, Why is der wall turned to glass? Is dat a human in a white coat? Is dat a NEEDLE in his hand?

Aw, you don’t have to….I just couldn’t come up with the next scene. Can you take over for a bit?

          1. Vicky Vladic

            “Time to wake up Pinky”
            Pinky waved her wand wildly.
The piano player stopped playing. Confused pandas ran frantically for vacant seats.
The Poker Pandas grabbed their chips and dived under the table. The braver ones went back for the dips.
Pinky looked up and saw Babette staring gently down at her.
“Moi thinks it’s time for you to go home Pinky. I’ve never seen you eat so many cuppycakes and our lemonade here is very strong. Po’s outside with Bert and Ernie. I haven’t seen Po for ages!”
The saloon doors opened. A familiar black and white figure stepped inside. Babette took a step backward.
“Po!” she exclaimed. “Why are you wearing a dress?”

Ha! This is great!”The braver ones went back for the dip.” Brilliant!(will continue tomorrow)

It happens. I’m sure something will inspire you to hop back in the panda story telling fray when you finish your work.

Bert and Ernie are the Cublanta twinkies. They used to be boys, but pinky >poofed< them, and now they are girls. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Po was collateral damage. (She was a boy for three years till...oops! wrong again.) For some reason, the Atlanta Zoo has gotten 4 out of 5 gender identifications incorrect. In theior defense, it is REALLY hard to tell with little pandas.

I have a feeling an alliance will be created…

But I don’t put it past Bert and Ernie to sneak a sit in the drinker and then watch Princess Pinky drink from it before they agree! I did try to warn her, but you never know… those Twinkies are very clever girls. After all, they didn’t have access to a magical wand to create their Mei-Hem!

Still… Princess Pinky can learn all sorts of wand-free mischief from the Twinkies!!

I see an uneasy alliance in their future, but you know how groups of girls can be. besides, if everyone behaved themselves, what fun would that be?
I will keep the “drinker problem” in mind, though.

Oh I fully expect the Twinkies to get some revenge down the road when Princess Pinky least expects it! Those girls won’t take these antics sitting down… unless, of course, it’s in a drinker!

I feel I have arrived at the end of a long and complex tale of country folk. I may have to hit the Paws button to catch up . . . . . . .(pause. . paws. . . . HAH AH HA HAH HA HAHHA HAH HA HAH AH HA HA HA HA HAHH HA HAH AH AH AH AH AHha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha)

OK I know I suspect there are not many jokes left in the book about Panda’s now, but I got to try. . . .

Au contraire, if there is a way to pandify something to make a joke, you have come to the right place! We have not yet begun to pand and there will be much panda-ing to our audience. But be careful! Pandas are very habit forming and you may find your self needing to enroll in pandaholics anonymous. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

    Strummmy Strummy Strum….Strum strum strum….

Well, the Twinkies are definitely the Good, bless their little Panda Scout hearts. Pinky is certainly the Bad. What comes next??
