Pinky Hits the Talk Shows!

These days, it’s not just news programs and debates where candidates try to get as much air time as they can! Yep, they all strive to get on as many talk shows as possible, so that voters see their “real people” (or is that “panda?”) sides.

And what better talk show is there, than Mehitabel Tonite!?

Mehitabel knows how to get to the heart of the matter with her guests, don’t you think?

You mean those who want what they want, when they want it? Yeah, she is a product of the culture, for sure.

You tell ’em Pinky! We didn’t even get to see your eyes open 🙁 Did anyone catch Jon Oliver’s comments on Pandas during the segment where he riffed about how DC folks have no representation? His comments about pandas are hilarious, but I cannot quote them here…he says that we don’t need them to vote…but… (It’s on Youtube)

ooo! Thanks Ann. I’ll look it up the Jon Oliver youtube. On the other hand, it brought more panda lovers into my life, and into the panda satire fold, and for that, I am grateful. Where there are lemons, there might be lemonade. (and doesn’t The “D” often get pictured like he is sucking on a lemon?)

Come to think of it, he does look like he is sucking on a lemon. One of the statements JO made which I can quote is his description of Pandas (which, by the way, I sense he likes) as “Weird bi-chromatic raccoons on steroids.”

I think shutting down a whole government (and denying us Pinky’s extreme baby cuteness for weeks) is brattier than all the things Pinky ever did put together, but that’s me. She’s looking like a better candidate every week!

Isn’t she just? On the other hand, it DID connect me with a whole bunch of panda fans on twitter, but that is still no justification for shutting off the panda cam. (Not to mention all the other havoc the shutdown caused.)

Love the special hair and makeup styling for these talk show appearances. She looks so adorable sitting in that chair (especially the last frame)! Here’s hoping she gets to become a big sister soon – and that the Panda cam stays on.

Pinky is a star! But she still doesn’t like thise words mommee keeps throwing around, like “share” and “responsibility” It is almost more than a little panda can bear.
