Oh yes, it’s time for 31 Days of PANDAS!

I bet you woke up at 3 AM this morning, while it was still dark, and tried to stay in bed, but you were so excited to see if it had really happened…you snuck down the stairs drawn uncontrollably to the glowing light coming from your computer, just to see if it had arrived….

Was it really the day that EVERYONE waits for all year?

Yes, it is…It is Day One of 31 Days of Pandas!  Huzzah.

Princess Pinky announces 31 days of pandas

I don’t know, Princess Pinky…I think Mr. Wu is going to have something to say about this.

I know you are going to want to clear your calendar, and put all those Holiday parties on hold, because you will want to be the first on your block to read each day of pandas.

Welcome to Pandyland!

Be the Bear,
Bob T. panda

Surprise Sunday! And it’s my favorite. Pwincess Pinky. Boy, BobT., you have a lot of work coming up. Better you than me! I don’t know how you do it.

I don’t know how (or why) I do it either. I must be a masochist or crazy or all of the above. Well, It keeps me out of the bars (but not out of the refrigerator…..must go “refresh” myself and get tomorrows cartoons done…) I now have an idea.

Huzzah! I have fans…no…I did actually know that, but thank you for reminding me. I love “panda immersion month” I do it for my fans, but really, I mostly do it because it makes me happy!

I will NEBBER forget da “Princess” part! I have to talk to Pinky Princess and see how she is coping with the name change. She is very excited about her paper dolls, too.

Yeah, it’s hard to get a jump on the rest of the panda faithful, but I’m glad you’re here. One of the things that is so great about 31 days of pandas (and there are many, if I do say so myself) is that by working on something every day, you actually get more ideas, rather than running out of them. I bet you are finding this in your own writing.

Actually, I’m finding what works for me, personally, is drafting posts a month ahead and posting that schedule at the beginning of the month. Then I have lots of time to come up with the next month’s posts. And, of course, if I get a really great idea, I do an “emergency” post in between. So far, it seems to be working.

I’m trying that method too, to try to get ahead with my ideas and rough drafts. I tried it when I was doing a bunch of cartoons ahead, so i could be gone last month and still post on time, but now I am behind again. If I can just get a little ahead, I can try to have some more cartoons in the bag, so to speak.
