Oh my gosh, is it day 3 already? 31 Days of Pandas continues!

Note to all: Someone has declared that it’s Giving Tuesday, and so what better organization to give to besides Pandas International? For everyone who buys a book today through my createspace stores, I will donate $2 to Pandas International! Buy them for yourself, buy them as presents, support real pandas, because without pandas, there can be no panda satire! (And then where would we be?)

Oh boy, I’ve managed to keep up with the pandaing for the first three whole days! Huzzah!  There were a few little …um…backstage scuffles as Mr Wu had words with Princess Pinky about who was the cutest bear to ever live, but I think we’ve got everything all sorted out now.

Right? …um…yeah”  “…’kay” “…oh, all right!”

The end of the year is always a bitter sweet time…the days get shorter, my birthday season is just about over, and rain and cold are the order of the day.  It was these melancholy musings that made 31 Days of Pandas an absolute necessity.  Who can be blue, when you have pandas to look forward to every day? So, tell your friends and co-workers, and invite them along for the ride.

You’ll all wonder how you got along all these years without pandas.

Sweet dreams, little bears!

I hope you are enjoying this year’s 31 Days of Pandas! Stay tuned for more from the Wu self (as he continues his adventures in pandyland tomorrow with Binky, Mr Toasty, someone who looks remarkably like Mr Wu’s brother, and all the rest of the crew!)

If you wish every month was 31 Days of Pandas, consider owning your very own copies of Books 1, 2, and 3 of The Panda Chronicles! Check out our book page and invite pandas to come live with you!

PS: Today Whidbey Life Magazine launches their Indiegogo Project to fund a print version of their online arts and culture newsletter. I hope you’ll have a chance to check it out (because I write for them too!)

Hey, Princess. I had brothers, and they were also pests when we were little kids. But then we all grew up, and it got better. Big brothers are wonderful for taking care of little sisters. You are all adorable!

My brother was a pest too, but we finally got over that! Um…there is some possibility that he thought I was the pest. Go Figure. Glad you are enjoying the month of pandas!

I am so looking forward to the next 28 days of Pandas. These first three are hilarious. Poor Mr. Wu – he’s being upstaged by Pinky and the Twinkies at every turn! Sorry – she will always be Princess Pinky to me even though her official name is Bao Bao.

BTW, I bought all three of your books and they are wonderful. Looking forward to the next one “The Book of Wu” maybe???

So glad you are enjoying the month of pandas! I do feel so bad for Mr wu. I have been waiting for a girl panda here in the US since I became a pandaholic, and now that she is here, it’s hard to focus on any other pandas. Thank you for buying all my books. It warms my heart (no, REALLY) to think that people actually want to read my comics over and over. (actually, one of my friend’s 11 year old daughter has them all memorized, and recites them to her mother as they ride in the car.)
Yes, there WILL be a Book of Wu early next year. I’m waiting till I get through the 31 Days of Pandas before I start working on it!

Thank you so much, Panda in Chief! This is the time of year when insanity hits and I’m stressed to the max. You give me the opportunity to have a good laugh-for that I am eternally grateful. Too tired to say anything clever so I’ll just say thanks again. Pandas are my safety net when I feel like I’m in a free fall-I just have to watch them for a few minutes and all is right with the world again. I find that incredible. Pandas (and labs, okay, okay and kittys too) rule!

I’d say, you better have some chocolate, but you are probably absorbing it through your skin. I hope you have a happy and successful holiday season. Hey Everyone! Get some chocolate from Stacy’s Elegantly Chocolate! ( http://www.elegantlychocolate.com ) It’s been panda tested and approved! (oh dear…now I’m starting to salivate, thinking about the chocolate Stacy makes!)

I love their B & E monogrammed pyjamas:) And what a tasty bed cover! Do my eyes deceive me or did a cuppycake get squashed in action? No mistaking the expressions on cuddly rabbit.
Thanks for making December so much fun!
Now how can I become a Twinkie Nanny?

Yes, one of the pictures of cuppycakes (or was it a real one that got snuck into bed?) did get smooshed in the scuffle. I just love little pandas in PJ’s. :o) You will have to get in line behind the rest of us who want to be Twinkie nannies.
