National Pinky Radio

…brings you all Pinky, all the time!

Having just returned from high level meetings with Princess Pinky herself, (OK, so she was up in the hemlock tree most of the time) I thought it only right and proper that she gets to be the star of today’s cartoon.

Send cuppycakes and magical wands!

:o) I um…borrowed that line from a story a friend told me about when he took his daughter to the bus to return her to her college. She actually said “you can go, now” to her dad. I’m sure he’ll get over it eventually.

I’m not surprised that Pinky has a little imperious attitude.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Hard to say “no” to a princess. (Um, word to the wise, Sooper-P, don’t let mommee know that it’s you sending Pinky all those new magical wands.)

There are some suspicions around the Panda House that “someone” is sending her wand replacements as fast as Mommee can take them and hide them. I hope they are not like batteries, which, when stored improperly can cause a fire. No telling what a stockpile of Magical Wands will do. Just sayin, Mei.

So you actually got to see Pinky at the Nashnul Zoo? Huzzah! From what I see on the cam, she is very active early mornings, then scurries up that tree. She tries another tree, which has aluminum shields on the trunk. Good thing because it it right next to a wall, and we would not like to unleash Pinky on the Nation’s Capitol would we?

An escaped Pinky would be a bad thing. She would probably go straight to BearBucks for a Pandachino with extra whipped cream, then it would be off to the museums to take in a little culture. Then perhaps a little joyride with the Mei-hem twins. I certainly hope Pinky does not defeat the tree guard anytime soon.

It was very exciting to see her royal Pinky self in the actual fur. She did come down from her tree eventually, so that I could get a good look at her. I took a few bad photos. I will have to rely on the Zoo regulars for my photo references.

“Somebody” (I’m sorry, I have vowed not to tell) keeps getting Pinky new wands. Mommy takes one away, Pinky gets another from a mysterious admirer. What can I say? A well behaved Pinky has no story line.

As well you should be. Your little sister knows how to work a crowd, and more importantly, has Mommee and all her nannies wrapped around her liddle paw. I predict stardom and great things for Princess Pinky Bao Bao.
