Have you read the book “50 Shades of Gray” yet? I haven’t but I think that after reading it one would have lots of new ideas…for cartoons that is.

I haven’t read it (and most likely won’t) I like to base my cartoons on hearsay and spurious gossip and commentary. Is it fair? No way! But it is the panda (kindergarten) way! Huzzah!

Dave and I are reading it, it really is as bad as I had suspected. The repetitiveness is annoying, the writing is horrible, and there are glaring inaccuracies in her location. And we are only two chapters in. I’m not sure who to be more disappointed in, the author for writing such crap, the publisher for publishing such crap, or the editor for not saying “hey! This is CRAP!” But I said I’d read it or stop bitching about it, so read it I will. Cause I gotta bitch about it!

Thank you for validating my decision not to read this book, but only to make fun of it. Reading bad writing makes me scream, throw things at the wall and then rant for hours on end about “why aren’t I published, if this crap is.” Sorry you are suffering. The things we do for our careers….

It’s true, that the pandas have a lot more fun than Mehitabel (and boy is she tired of THAT!!!) She reminded me that she better get a featured cartoon once in a while or there might be “consequences” if you know what I mean. She is a constant supervisor and she knows when the balance of pandas to kitties is out of whack.

Ha ha ha! Haven’t read the book, only heard about it. But I love the cats’ comments at the back as well as the little disclaimer! Great fun! 🙂

To be honest, I haven’t read the book either, but I’ve never let that stop me from making fun of something. Glad you liked the comments. They were fun to think of.
