Journalistic Follies part 2

You didn’t think we would just abandon Bob without resolving his attempt to revise history, claiming he was the unsung hero of Pinky’s infamous “Occupy Hemlock” sit-in, did you?

You did?

Ha!

We leave no journalistic follies unheralded, especially not those of Bob T. Panda! Did you miss Sunday’s episode? You can read it here.

And look who Bob's suspension replacement is! Huzzah!

And look who Bob’s suspension replacement is! Huzzah!

Huzzah! It is her own Princess self, Princess Pinky! Will Mehitabel come to regret this choice?

What do you think?

Be the Bear,
Bob T. Panda

Huzzah, indeed! I suspect (ok, I know) Mehitabel will come to regret her co-host choice, but Pinky’s mom asked so sweetly, could she give her daughter a job.

Hopefully mama Mei taught her princess about the birds and bees because it’s THAT time of year for pandas, and… poor Pinky shouldn’t have a crash course in panda *ahem* behavior on camera.

Poor Pinky, I can see it now: “…And then the boy bear steps on the girl bear’s back with ALL FOUR FEET and voila, a baby panda shows up in summer!” with Mehitabel correcting her.

Gao Gao or Mei Lan may need to be a special guest….!

Pinky will have to learn these things where all other girls do, in the girls restroom with her friends. I like the image of the boy panda stepping on the girl panda’s back…Pinky DOES have a subscription to the New Yorker, after all!
Stay tuned! The Panda Season of Love is just around the corner.
          :o)

It is one of my greatest joys in life, that I can be such a snot, if I say it as a panda. Thanks for confirming my point of view. :-)))))

Glad to see Pinky!! I hope it’s a part-time job. I’d like lil’ one go to college, graduated in Art History (I don’t know exactly why, I guess like the rest of the Pandykindy…)

Part of the “Putting Pandas to Work” program allows them to try out a number of occupations before they go on for further study. Pinky’s plans do include higher education, but whether it will be hournalism, art history or rocket science, we don’t yet know. Pinky is a star and an icon, so she can hardly fail. (We are hoping her futire doesn’t include reality TV, however.)

She is a star, and poses for the camera perfectly. Pinky even knows when the cam is not on. Sometimes we have seen her giving small bumps to check it (tap-tap)

When you are an icon you have to pay attention to those things. Pinky IS a star. :o) Tappity tappity!

What a fabulous development! While I will miss Bob T and am hoping he does something really exciting during his suspension, I can’t wait to see how Pinky and Mehitabel – or should that be Mehitabel and Pinky – work as an anchor team.

Hold on to your seats, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride. I’m sure…well, pretty sure, that Mehitabel will survive co-hosting with Pinky. Pretty sure.
