Inspector Panda Returns to The Case of the Petulant Princess

Well we have been having a lot of fun over on Facebook and in the comments here, co-writing a very noir offshoot of the Inspector Panda Saga.  It has run a little far afield of the cartoon, but that’s OK because we are having big fun with it.  I think maybe we’ll try to wrap that up by Friday and if all the participants agree, post it here on the main page for Fabulous Furry Friday.

What do ya say, Laurie and Vicky?

Anyway, continuing with our adventure in the funny pages…

"Hello, Bai Yun? this is Lun Lun...about that detective you suggested..."

“Hello, Bai Yun? this is Lun Lun…about that detective you suggested…”

If you haven’t seen it already, The Panda Chronicles Book 4: The Book of Wu is now available on Amazon. Huzzah!  Thank you to all who have rushed out and bought a copy.  More panda publishing news is coming soon, but it’s coming to newsletter subscribers FIRST!  So, if you  aren’t already signed up for the Panda Chronicle news, what ‘cha waiting for? It’s the second sign up at the top of the right hand column.

I’m waiting….

Be the bear!

    Yes

and… I got mine today. Now I can go home and read all about Mr Wu and his adventures. 🙂

I’m with Lun Lun, this inspector seems clueless. Are you sure the real inspector wasn’t panda-napped. Maybe as part of Pinky’s dastardly plan?

Huzzah! Hope you enjoy the adventures of Wu. I had a lot of fun rereading all the cartoons as I compiled the book.

I’m afraid the selection in Detective Pandas is fairly limited. I don’t think Pinky had anything to do with this. I do think that maybe Bai Yun was getting back at Lun Lun for a remark she made last year, after the twins were born. It was Bai Yun who suggested Inspector Panda.

Sounds good – can’t wait for Furry Friday!
Absolutely adore the Twinkie hanging onto the box of cookies!
Clueless – I think Lun Lun has Inspector Panda sussed out 🙂

I got my Wu book yesterday and read it cover-to-cover. What fun!

I’m really concerned about the little panda scouts with “clueless” Inspector Panda taking their cookies without paying for them. Those poor little twinkies are so adorable in their Panda Scout beanies and seem so distressed about their lack of cookie sales. Lun Lun has got it right though; he is “clueless.” Did Bai Yun really steer her wrong just to get back at her?

It remains to be seen just how mad Bai Yun was about that remark Lun Lun made last year. And I’m sure…well, pretty sure, that the girls won’t lose their cookies. So to speak.

So glad you’re going to compile Inspector Panda’s noir story … I was trying to follow it in the FB comments and I just know I missed some of it. Thanks in advance Bob T. (and Vicky and Laurie), should be a very fun read from what I’ve read so far!
