Huzzah! Here we are again….

Despite the fact that the weather has been marvelous, a cool but sunny typical Northwest fall, The Institute for Contemporary Panda Satire never rests, knowing how much you depend on your weekly doses of panda satire. In other words, there is no shutdown going on here!

Meanwhile in Atlanta, next week is the naming ceremony for the panda twins born this July.  I’m guessing my suggestion of “Bert and Ernie” has not been given the full consideration it deserves.  Go figure.

Tune in on Wednesday, when Mr Wu resumes his new adventure!

Be the Bear,

Bob T. Panda

I would certainly prefer Bert and Ernie to the names presented. I don’t like any of them. Pwincess Pinky could carry a pink torch.

Well, they will actually get a couple of Chinese names, but never fear, if I can’t turn those names into something silly for the cartoon, Bert and Ernie they shall be!

once there was a British panda who went to Russia on a date (late 50’s early 60’s) but it didn’t work out so well. a word to the wise and all that!

Love how the twinkies (Ernie & Bert!) pop up everywhere! I’m surprised da Mommie Monster let’s them out of her sight. Uh, maybe with two, she wants them out of her sight?? Another good one Bob T.!

I believe they slipped out the back way when Monster Mom wasn’t looking. I fear they are destined, not only for greatness, but to be leaders in the pandy kindy. I’m thinking that discipline problems is a reason that usually only one panda cub survives in the wild. That and limited nanny services. It is hard to keep track of them when they are in the nursery while Lunnie is having her “mommy me time.”
