FFF presents: Pandas of Days Past

I thought I would continue my theme of sharing a specific month’s cartoons from several years ago. It is always fun and instructive (for me, anyway) to see how my drawings have changed from my early days of pandism.  Today, let’s revisit March of 2011…

Let’s start with The panda kindergarten’s first trip to the olympics, starring Bob as a young panda!

This cartoon is one of Bob's earliest appearances!

The Pandas first attempt at Olympic Glory!

Maybe they have a point...

See, What did I tell you?

See, What did I tell you?

And since I have had to do a little air travel recently, I was reminded of this cartoon, which incidentally is a favorite of one of my younger fans, (yes, that’s you, Celeste), much to her mother’s dismay.

You can't be too careful!

Ha ha! Here's a toothbrush!

Commercial alert! If you are enjoying these cartoons from the early days of panda satire, you can find them all in Book 1 of The Panda Chronicles: Your Brain on Pandas! Find it on Amazon, or out of the back of my car!

See you next time!

Be the Bear,
Bob T. Panda

Don’t Call Us Bears. We’re On Loan From The Woodland Park Zoo. I don’t believe I’ve ever noticed the wrongly referenced Marsupials before in your works. I appreciate your desire to keep World Athletics equitable and make Koalas and Pandas equal size.
Happy Weekend. Please Keep Pandering To Us, or is it We, Masses. Thank you.

Big Doings Here today, a Lemur Baby Gender/Name-Reveal. Brother Duke tells us the scoop. I will be writing papers and cleaning house.

If you’ll notice, Mehitabel s about the same size as the junior pandas too. Scientific accuracy has never been our mission. Those must have been the very rare giant koalas from an obscure part of Australia (may be redundant). Don’t call us bears!

I always love awaiting moderation. It’s like I have you fooled. Princess Pinky and I, only children that we are, do nothing in moderation. ????????????????????????????????Boo-Tinis for all

Yeah that is pretty funny. We have a saying around the Institute for Contemporary Panda Satire: All things in moderation, ESPECIALLY moderation and excluding cuppycakes.

The cartoon with the pandas in floaties is, um, quite timely. Did you see the item about the Bears in Rockaway township NJ? Get the 11 minute version. Two nice Moms, ursine and hooman!

I did see that! If you mean the black bears pool pardee. Now Pinky wants to invite her other bear pals at the zoo to play in her stream and pond. Don’t know how mommee is going to feel about that, as she would like a liddle quiet, please.
