Episode 7: A Suspicious Document

The plot is thickening, no question about it. Babette du Panda has presented the alleged will of Minette, in an attempt to convince Inspector Panda that she is the rightful owner of the prized painting.

But first, here is the previous episode for those who have just tuned in!

Oh, that Mr Wu is a clever little bear! Is Madame du Panda trying to pull a fast one?

and now, our story continues!

Is this plot thickening, or what?

Yes, he is. Mr Wu, who lives at the zoo and soon will be two…. A very clever boy (and Inspector Panda needs all the help he can get!)

Oh, you know how the bills add up, especially when you keep ordering cuppycakes on line. Plus the panda kindergarten “borrowed” Inspector Panda’s credit card a while back, and he is still making payments. He hasn’t had many clients lately, so he is a little behind.

Yeah, that online buying thing is pretty intense. Does he have a PandaExpress or Pandazon card (I heard you earn points with that one)? Hope he has a good deal on the interest rates at least.

I believe he has a PandaExpress card (don’t leave home without it!) but his Pandazon account was…um…”deactivated” after the pandy kindy got hold of it. So it goes.

Oooo the plot thickens ! Wonder what the interesting detail is that Wu notices? By the way on my last look at Pandamorphosis I came to the conclusion that the little girl in the book looks, um, a lot like a certain author of panda satire….

      Gee, do you think so?
Mr Wu was wondering (besides the fact of the ink being still wet,) if…wait…no, that would be revealing too much. Hee hee. I guess you’ll have to stay tuned!

Well…um…the word “Whatucallit” gave the ballgame away for me. Nobody puts that in a legal document. Oh, and the wet ink kind of bothers me too….

Oh…right! Um…Maybe back in the late 1800’s they weren’t quite so persnickety about legal documents. You could be right…Babette could be trying to pull a fast one.

I believe it is more of a protege`/mentor type relationship. I believe Babette also acts as a shopping and fashion consultant to Pinky.
