#Day 28 It’s a WUnderful Life: Episode 6

It just gets worser and worser. But have faith, it will get better…um..eventually!

The year is winding down as well, and I am starting to look forward to all that is ahead for the pandas in 2014.  I plan to make some announcements in my January Newsletter, so if you haven’t yet signed up for that, and want to be the first to know all the panda satire plans for the year, now is a good time to sign up.  Just fill out the handy form “Get even MORE pandas” near the top of the righthand column.

And now, we bring you episode six of It’s a WUnderful Life! Huzzah!

Take a deep breath and repeat after me: this is only a story, and it will be over eventually. (you are REALLY going to hate tomorrow’s cartoon….just sayin.)

Bai? Mean? Could never happen! Send her to me and I’ll take care of her. She can have her own room (ok, share with husband’s home office)with nice view. Send plenty of boo too, please. Co-op does not allow dogs, but house rules don’t mention pandas.

Many people do not know that Bai Yun studied at London’s Royal Academy of theater, and has been nominated several times for her roles in various movies. As an accomplished actor, she was very enthusiastic about playing a role that was so opposite from her public persona.

She was excited at your offer of shelter, and is pleased that the management “forgot” to forbid pandas in the co-op. She will need a little vacation after this production of “It’s a WUnderful Life.” She also appreciates your concern over her well being. Um…by the way, you are REALLY going to hate tomorrow’s cartoon.

Ah, not to worry (see previous reply to Ann F.) there are only 3 more days to this adventure, and there is a very happy ending in store. I’m taking it as a compliment to my story telling abilities that people are getting so upset over this story. Be brave. It all comes out well in the end.

Knowing that there will be a HAPPY ending has allowed me to laugh out loud at the No Refunds posters. I loved Wu’s circus adventure and the Wizard of Wu, but this adventure has me on the edge of my seat!!

It is part of my inner panda philosophy that there will be happy endings, at least in my imaginary stories and parodies. It doesn’t mean I won’t torture everyone along the way! I’m sure it’s some kind of psychological failing or maybe a result of my dysfunctional cub-hood. Or maybe it’s just the idea that without conflict, there is no story.

I take as a compliment to my story-telling abilities that I have you on the edge of your seat. Stay tuned!
