Day 15: 31 Days of Pandas

A happy (if late) Fabulous Furry Friday Day 15 of 31 Days of Pandas!

The weather was too beautiful to stay indoors yesterday, so I did not get today’s post set up to launch in the wee hours. A beautiful day in mid December is a precious thing and ought not to be wasted!

You should also know that I am hard at work on compiling Book 8 of The Panda Chronicles!!! Huzzah! Since my process of writing and drawing the ‘toons is a bit by the seat of my pants, I always need to take some time to rearrange the actual physical cartoons into the order which they really should be, as opposed to the order they popped out of my head. All of my writer friends will tell you it’s all in the editing and revising.

Next week, we will start with that favorite Holiday Classic, It’s a WUnderful Life, starring Mr. Wu and Bee, the Bear, as the Christmas angel who shows Wu the error of his ways. But now, let’s dip into the ‘toons of last year, in honor of Doug Jones’ win in Alabama! Maybe all is not lost after all!

And here’s a photo I took at our own Million Pandas March in beautiful Langley on Whidbey Island. (Note: I am about in the middle of the crowd.)

I still can’t believe how things went down. These cartoons suppled some much needed respite from the fear and chaos that ensued. They are still a great comfort – especially Bubba’s warning to chew your food real good 🙂
