The Case of the Picturesque Panda: Our story so far…

There has been great rejoicing in Panda-ville this week! Panda triplets have been born in China and three weeks later all are still surviving. Princess Pinky Bao Bao’s 1st birthday approaches, the Atlanta Meihem sisters have turned one year old, as has Bai Yun’s great granddaughter, Princess Dumpling, resident of Taipei. And let us not forget Mr. Wu who has just turned two!

Not only that, I am up to Episode 10 in Inspector Panda’s mystery! Huzzah! In honor of all the Panda happiness going around, I am going to post the ENTIRE SERIES SO FAR, so that you don’t have to go linking about, possibly missing an episode or three along the way.

So, without further ado, here’s Inspector Panda (start nourish music soundtrack here:)

Many thanks to panda fans who are enjoying and sharing panda satire around the inter-webs! Keep up the good work. Also a sincere pandy welcome to Anna and hubby Patrick, new Panda Chronicle fans that I met whilst at a family wedding on Whidbey Island last weekend. Β Yes! That’s you!

See you all on Friday (of the fabulous furry variety!) when we have a special tribute to Pinky, in celebration of her upcoming birthday! Huzzah!

Be the Bear!

Yes! There will be another book before the Inspector Panda book, but I am definitely moving towards giving Inspector Panda his own book. It will probably be a number of Inspector Panda Mysteries together in one book. Huzzah! Probably a year till I have enough Inspector Panda stories.

Mr. Wu gets his own trench coat! He is such an expressive little actor — excellent casting for the part of the junior detective. What a fun binge read for the series so far. Bring on number eleven! πŸ™‚

Yes, Mr. Wu got a trench coat from his mom for his second birthday. She was so pleased that he got a trainee job in the “putting pandas to work” program, that she went out and bought him a beautiful trench coat, so he could be just like a real detective.
Also, he didn’t want to give up “Mr Wu Wednesday”, so he thought he better join Inspector Panda on Wednesdays.

Momma Bai has excellent taste! Mr. Wu looks very Bogie film noir-ish. The last panel makes me think it could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. πŸ™‚

I will keep an eye out for the Inspector Panda book in future.

Mr Wu does resemble Bogie a little, doesn’t he? Maybe Mom will get him his own Bearsolino Hat for Christmas, if he does well in his detective course.
When I’ve done enough Inspector Panda stories to fill a book, you’ll hear about it here first.

I was so excited to see Mr Wu in a trench coat! He looks so smart in it.
Love the way Inspector Panda is sharing his detecting wisdom. I can’t wait for the next installment.
Looking forward to Pinky’s tribute too πŸ™‚

He does look dapper in his little trench coat, doesn’t he? More from Pinky on Sunday, and from Mr Wu and Inspector Panda next Wednesday. (formerly Mr Wu Wednesday. :o) )
