Cake

I think Cake cures all cares and catastrophes. Clearly, a common misconception, is that cake is a curse. Of course, this is mere carping by crotchety curmudgeons. Cake cures all complications and crises,  Let them eat cake is cause for celebration, not condemnation! Especially if there is chocolate cream frosting.

Today is brought to you by the letter “C” which coincidentally, is the first letter of Cordelia Calls it Quits and Cordelia’s Mom, Still, where the panda kindergarten will be making visits later this month! Hide the silver and the cuppycakes before we get there, okay?

One panda's disaster is another panda's delight!

One panda’s catastrophe is another panda’s celebration!

Apologies that there was not a new midweek cartoon this week.  Pandamorphosis launch duties have kept me occupied for far too many hours, but the end is in sight, and there should be a new cartoon on Sunday. Rumor has it that Princess Pinky and the Cublanta twins have a plan to join forces, at least temporarily.  Can you say, ROAD TRIP!!!!!???

And here is one of my favorite drawings from the soon to be released Pandamorphosis….

Don’t you just hate it when your refrigerator is infested by…pandas?

Thank you again A to Zers!  Listing my pick of the day here.

Be the bear!

It is the only way to eat cake…eating it and having it too. If only we could set up a short temporal time warp so that we could keep eating our cake over and over again.

OK, you KICK A**! I had to follow your old blogger site to this one, and it was totally worth it. Damn. On second thought, I don’t like you anymore. You’re all talented and sh*t. OK, I do.

I’m glad you followed the trail of cuppycake wrappers over to the new site. It was a tough job to leave such a long trail, but it was worth it.

These guys are so adorable! Love this refrigerator infestation. How did your obsession with Panda’s begin? (Maybe I should next read the About page??)

Thank you. Um…I’m not sure the “about page” thoroughly explains my panda obsession. I’ll try to make a long story short. (:o)) In December of 2007 I read an article aboutthe panda research centers in China. There were pictures of toddler pandas. From there, I went onto the “hard stuff”:videos of pandas going down slides, playing in the snow, playing with brooms. I started drawing cartoons of them. One thing lead to another and I started this blog. Then I started work on a children’s book about the pandas (that is where the refrigerator drawing comes from.) After several years and many revisions, Pandamorphosis was finally (sort of) finished. I hope to publish it very soon. You will read all about it here.
Thank you for visiting. Pandas make me very happy. Have fun with the paper panda dolls!
