On the 10th, 11th, and 12th Day of Crisp-Moss:

Yes,  and technically speaking, 31 Days of Pandas is over, but as I ran out of month before I ran out of verses, (and certain, shall we say, impatient, members of our audience wanted us to just get on with it and post the whole darn thing) we bring you the last three days of Crisp-Moss all at once.

Huzzah!

And now, The Institute of Contemporary Panda Satire presents:
The 12 Days of Crisp-Moss!!!!!

On the twelfth day of Crisp-Moss, My Panda cam Did See....

On the twelfth day of Crisp-Moss, My Panda cam Did See….

MX: no, Pinky, you may NOT have a Bamboo-tini!

MX: no, Pinky, you may NOT have a Bamboo-tini!

I can't hear you....

I can’t hear you….

F-F-F-FI-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-VE Cuppycaaaaaaakes!

F-F-F-FI-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-VE Cuppycaaaaaaakes!

whew!

whew!

Once more with feeling….And a Pinky in a Hemlock Tree!

Everybody sing!

Everybody sing!

Okay, is everyone ready to sing? (and personally, I think that the NZ Panda-Nanny staff would love, love, love it if you serenaded them with this song, tomorrow when you go to visit Pinky and Mum and Dad at the zoo.)

On the Twelth day of Crispmoss, my panda cam did see:

Twelve Pinky Presents,
Eleven Bamboo-tinis,
Ten Pandas Leaping,
Nine Pandarinas,
Eight Santa’s sleigh bears,
Seven pandas chasing,
Six pandas driving,

FII-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-VE CUPPYCAAAAAAAAAAAKES!

Four pandas sneaking,
Three triplets napping,
Two Meihems plotting
and
A Pinky in a Hemlock Treeeeeeeeeeeee!

Huzzah! And because as I type this, it is New Year’s Eve (well, except in the places where it is already the New Year) I leave you with the panda kindergarten, celebrating New Year’s Eve in their own very special way.

new years eve party, panda kindergarten

Happy New Years, from The Institute of Contemporary Panda Satire!

I can’t tell you enough times or how much it means to me, that you have chosen to be the bears. Thank you all, and the happiest of New Years.

I was talking about the bamboo-tinis while underage! Mama doesn’t look very happy! How does Pinky plan to talk herself out of this?

But I think ALL pandas do need 12 presents!

        And I did vote Pinky!

Yay! Pinky, Pinky, Pinky. I love Mama Mei’s expression, as well as the slightly tipsy panda on the left who is getting the stink eye from Mrs. Panda. Huzzah! bambootinis all around!

My Inner Panda Wishes you the Happiest of New Year’s Holidays Bob T. Panda. I wish you the Peace and Joy, well as much Peace and Quiet as the Panda Kindergarten allows. I know they bring me Great Joy, so I assume they do the same for you. Blessings for you and all the Pandas and Badgers in your life.

I am so happy to have you as one of the panda faithful. As I’ve said many times, I started drawing pandas for myself, never realizing how much fun it would be to have others along for the ride.
I hope you continue to survive an thrive. (I need all the fans I can get!)

Happy New Year Bob T. ! And many more creative panda-toons in 2015, though when we will again have such an exciting year of little ones on panda cams I can’t forsee.

I’m hoping for a new crop of American pandas this year. And maybe even Canadian ones! I don’t know if Mr Wu’s mom has absolutely retired. I think they will let her decide. And at least in theory, mama Mei could try her luck again as well as Lun Lun. We haven’t given up hope for a panda cub in Memphis either.

Between Princess Pinky and the Meihem antics… I think Miss Ya Ya may be reconsidering! Then again, she COULD pass her sassypants ways onto a cubbie who could give Pinky a run for her money!

I would love to see some new American panda babies, and a Canadian one, because one can never have too many pandas to adore!

I think there have been a lot of soul searching late night phone calls between Mama Mei and Miss Ya Ya, down in Memphis. Bai Yun just rolls her eyes and says “deal with it, honey.”
I hope we do have some black and white bundles of joy this year. Princess Pinky needs a little competition. Mr Wu will just laugh up his sleeve.

    Happy New Year Bob T!
I can’t stop singing about Crisp-Moss! My dogs are loving it – especially when I belt out Five Cuppycaaaaaaaaaaakes!!!
I love the outfits the leaping pandas are wearing.
What a Bambootini Party! Pearls, bow ties, Mr Wu, Pinky and an expression on MX’s face that you will never forget 🙂
And it couldn’t end any other way!

Huzzah! That was a lot of fun. (And who wouldn’t enjoy belting out “FIIIIIIIIIVE CUUUUPPY—-CAKES!) I figure it is good memory training for those of us who are approaching our dotage.
